The Universe is the whole of what exists: the Source, Action, Information, Structures of Information, Material Forms (energy, matter, etc.) and immaterial (the intangible product of the cognitive activity of Living Forms - Cognitive aspects, more generally, of the Finalistic Agents).

The Universe is the entirety of what exists: the Source, Action, Information, Structures of Information, Material Forms (energy, matter, etc.), and immaterial forms (the intangible product of the cognitive activity of Living Forms - Cognitive aspects, and more broadly, of the Finalistic Agents).

It is the "present", in the sense of Special Relativity, integrated with the Principle of (temporal) Uncertainty, a central concept in Quantum Mechanics, where it is impossible to say in an absolute sense that two distinct events occur at the same time if those events are separated in space. No absolute time reference system. If events are not causally connected, precedence order is not preserved in all frames of reference. So, with the word Universe we intend the "present" section of Reality (in the sense and with the limitations above cited). Reality is everything that existed, exists and will exist (in the sense of potential future existence). It is the product of an incessant Process of Formation. New Reality is incessantly constructed through the transition of the potential into the actual.

It represents the "present", as defined by Special Relativity, integrated with the Principle of (temporal) Uncertainty—a central concept in Quantum Mechanics, which states that it is impossible to absolutely determine simultaneity for two distinct events separated in space. In such a framework, there is no universal time reference system. When events lack causal connections, their precedence order is not preserved across all frames of reference. Thus, the term Universe refers to the "present" section of Reality (as defined by and subject to the aforementioned limitations). Reality encompasses everything that has existed, exists, and will exist (in the sense of potential future existence). It is the outcome of a continuous Process of Formation, where new Reality is perpetually constructed through the transition from potentiality to actuality.

In eternal mutation / evolution, the Universe is incessantly re-created and evolves by the work of the Primary Source, from the most elementary level, the Elementary Field, up to the most complex (both in the cosmological, biological and cognitive domains).

Through its eternal transformation and evolution, the Universe is endlessly re-created and evolves under the influence of the Primary Source, beginning at the most elementary level—the Elementary Field—and progressing to the most complex levels in the cosmological, biological, and cognitive domains.

Reality and its present section, the Universe, comprehend:

  • a physical domain (all the Information/Energy, all the dark and ordinary matter, the cosmos and the cosmic structures, the physical substrate of living beings, etc.
  • a cognitive domain (the Metareality, or Cognitive Reality, formed by all the cognitive activity, dynamics, structures, etc. produced by living being in their lives).

Reality and its present section, the Universe, include:

  • a physical domain (encompassing all Information/Energy, dark and ordinary matter, the cosmos and cosmic structures, and the physical substrate of living beings, etc.),
  • a cognitive domain (referred to as Metareality or Cognitive Reality, which comprises all cognitive activity, dynamics, structures, and processes generated by living beings during their existence).

The Physical Universe

The physical Universe, the ensemble of everything that exists physically, is the current temporal section of the Physical Reality, the "present". It is the physical part of the Universe, all that is not produced by the cognitive activity of the Finalistic Agents (Living Beings and Automata).

The physical Universe, the entirety of everything that exists physically, represents the current temporal section of the Physical Reality—the "present." It constitutes the physical aspect of the Universe, encompassing all that is not a product of the cognitive activity of Finalistic Agents (Living Beings and Automata).
