TFNR - The origin and the evolution of the Universe
To explain the origin and evolution of the Universe, I propose a new vision, new hypotheses, a new model—what I call Cosmic Evolutionary Dynamics and the Evolutionary Cosmological Model (ECM), as presented in the previous section.
A radically different story of the creation (origin) and evolution of the Universe, as the "present" section of Reality.
These are the most significant and distinctive aspects of this framework:
No beginning. Endless. Time emerges within the Process of Formation.
No borders. No privileged points. Space is born within the same process.
No first Cause. No external force. The Source is intrinsic to the process itself. Its existence—its manifestation—is the Process of Formation of Reality. Its essence is the Form of the evolving Universe.
The true fundamental elementary "substance" composing things—atoms, molecules, objects, stars, galaxies, Dark Matter, Dark Energy—is not Particles or Waves, but rather Events. Elementary Events are fluctuations at the Planck scale of / in the Elementary Field, triggered and produced by the Action of the Fundamental Force (Force and Field being two aspects of the Source of Reality). Elementary Events organized into Processes—massive and intricate networks of Elementary Events that ceaselessly evolve toward increasingly Complex Events. Together, these Processes constitute the entire Process of Formation of Reality.
More precisely, what truly matters are the distributions of Elementary Events, which encode Information—patterns that organize Relations within Processes. These distributions can be mathematically described using stochastic and deterministic models, reflecting the creative and evolving interplay of chaos and order that underlies the Formation of Reality.
Ultimately, everything—absolutely everything—at its most fundamental level depends on the distributions of Elementary Events produced by the interaction of fundamental / elementary Entities and organized by Relations (correlations) that structure Events into Processes. Everything is relative, as it arises from Relations between Events. Space, Time, Mass, Motion, Charge, Spin—all the way up to the most complex Forms of Existence.
From the organization ot the correlations between these distributions emerges the profoundly uncertain, quantum, probabilistic nature of Reality at its most elementary levels. Over time, as complexity increases and spatial-temporal scales expand, this uncertainty is mediated—resulting in an emergent determinism that ultimately gives rise to the classical perspective that dominated the early development of physics.
Origin of the Physical Universe
From the absolute void—characterized by perfect homogeneity in the temporal distributions of Elementary Events, the elementary spatial fluctuations resonating around the Planck scale produced by the incessant Action of the Fundamental Force on the Elementary Field—the Universe emerges and begins to exist in its most elementary form. Through the spontaneous emergence of the first infinitesimal inhomogeneities, of the initial correlations between them, of the first chaotic, impermanent turbulence, seeds of the Structures that will evolve into increasingly vast and complex Forms, shaping the unfolding cosmic Evolution.
From the organization of Elementary Events, Relations, and Processes emerges the first Structures of Information. The earliest Vortices—convective formations within Space-time (which undergoes a slow heating process and currently averages approximately 2.7 Kelvin)—gradually develop. These structures, initially marked by minimal yet increasing inhomogeneity, signify the first emergent organization of the Elementary Field. Over an extensive evolutionary trajectory, this process leads to the formation of the first Dark Structures. These Structures, through successive aggregation, merger, and annihilation, expanded to fill the available Space, shaping what we now recognize as the dark structure of the cosmic web.
Through the ongoing and dynamic interactions of Dark Structures—observed as vast voids, Dark Halos of various scales, and the walls and filaments connecting them—Ordinary Matter emerged and continues to form. This process originates from the interaction of these cosmic bubbles and halos, at their boundaries made of what we assume is Dark Energy, all immersed in and part of a constitutive and pervasive turbulence that embraces infinite orders of magnitude, generating a swirling dynamic in Space-time. A "foam of correlations" between the distributions of Elementary Events—which produces micro Vortices and Waves—ultimately gives rise to Particles that become rapidly accelerated by immense and intense magnetic fields.
A rarefied yet perpetual process unfolds, sometimes manifesting more intensely, with alternating periods of heightened and diminished formation of Ordinary Matter. This oscillation mirrors the progressive expansion and contraction of the vast Dark Structures, akin to ocean waves generating foam in an endless cosmic rhythm. Collisions among the produced and accelerated elementary Particles lead to the formation of more complex Particles, which then collect and collapse into increasingly dense and massive Dark Halos.
This cosmic dance—marked by vast, unseen Structures—continues to generate ever-more complex dynamics of Ordinary (visible) Matter. The unfolding of this process drives the formation of new Structures in the unlimited, infinite, eternal evolving Universe that envelops us—of which we, like our entire planet, constitute a highly complex and evolving part.
First, primordial gas clouds emerged, followed by the first stars, stellar clusters, and galaxies. Over time, Ordinary Matter, akin to a flourishing landscape, gradually permeates the immense expanses of Dark Structures. In this interplay, the dark cosmic ballet becomes enriched by light, Radiant Energy, infinite local dynamics—together forging the immense complexity of the evolving Universe.
The evolution of the Universe constitutes a unified dynamic Process, wherein the interplay of all Material Forms and Immaterial Forms—through interaction—results in Organization, Transformation, and emerge from Selection. This incessant co-evolution advances toward ever-higher levels of Complexity.
This universal process integrates everything that exists into a singular direction and includes all the formative Processes that emerge into existence.
This is the universal Reality, undergoing incessant mutation. It represents the ongoing evolutionary action expressed by the networks of Events, Action, Information, Structures of Information, and all existing Forms. Together, they emerge from the Process of Formation of Reality.
The Universe is the outcome of the Process of Formation of Reality (PFR), a conceptual framework that unifies the causal sequence from the Source to the Forms—from the One to multiplicity. Accordingly, the Universe comprises the totality of Action, Information, Structures of Information, Material Forms (force vectors, Radiation, Dark and Ordinary Energy and Matter, etc.) and Immaterial Forms (the intangible products of cognitive activity of Living Forms, or broadly, Finalistic Agents). It represents the present stage of the Process, the "present". The ever-changing Universe is continually re-created and perpetually evolves under the sustained influence, pressure of the Source. This transformation unfolds from the most fundamental level—the unorganized Elementary Field—to the most complex levels, spanning cosmological, biological, and cognitive domains.
An immense network of Forms and interconnections, ceaselessly animated and enlivened by the expression of the Source. From the smallest aggregates of Matter—atoms and molecules—formed through the interplay of Structures of Information, to gas clouds whose condensation and aggregation yield stars, to the colossal formations of Dark Matter that aggregate Ordinary Matter into galaxies, and even broader cosmic entities, such as galaxy clusters, shaping the vastness of the cosmos. Even beyond these immense structures, technological advancement struggles to grasp the full extent of the Universe. Similarly, from prebiotic organic molecules—forged from elements generated by stellar explosions—to the simplest lifeforms, to increasingly advanced sentient beings, and humankind on this living planet, with the intangible forms of thought, emotions, the human culture. A crescendo of Complexity carries us to the outermost frontiers of the Universe's evolution . From the smallest and most elementary formations to the infinitely vast and complex structures that define Existence. The Universe remains in constant formation, evolving in a dynamic equilibrium, ceaselessly dancing on the abyss of disequilibrium full of potential—balancing randomness and uncertainty, necessity and finality.
Evolution of the Physical Universe
The Evolution of the Physical Universe refers to the sub-process of the Process of Formation of Physical Reality, the Physical Evolution of the Universe's physical domain—the "present" section of Physical Reality.
The origin and evolution of the Universe can be examined from multiple perspectives, the most significant being:
- the Physical vision
- the Cosmological vision
- the Biological vision
The Physical Vision provides a perspective centered on the foundational principles of Physical Reality, focusing on the dynamics of most elementary and fundamental levels of Reality. This includes the Dynamics of the Primary Source, the Force / Field pair, Elementary Action and its fundamental Components or Modes of expressions, as well as Information—both quantum and classical. Then, it examines the Structures of Information, including Dark and Visible Waves and Vortices (Particles and Halos).
The Cosmological Vision offers a specialized perspective on Physical Reality, emphasizing the origin and evolution of objects and structures within the Physical Universe. This field encompasses astrophysics and cosmology.
Lastly, the Biological Vision explores the most intricate and complex aspects of the known Universe, including Living Beings and Automata. It delves into their sophisticated biological dynamics, which ultimately support the emergence of Cognitive Reality.
The Age of Physical Universe
The Physical Universe is timeless, without beginning and eternal.
Without beginning, because Time is an integral part of the Evolution of the Universe, woven into the fabric of Physical Reality. It is highly improbable that a "First Event" initiated Reality, as such an occurrence would necessitate a Cause external to the history of Existence—an illogical premise. Within this System of Knowledge, Reality encompasses everything: every Event, every Relation, every Process.
Eternal, as the only conceivable termination of Reality would arise from the cessation of Action exerted by the Primary Source—halting the incessant Creation of Elementary Events. However, there exists no reason for such an occurrence.
We must abandon the notion of Reality—the evolving Universe—as a finite entity with a beginning and an end, shaped in our image and likeness.
So, in essence, what is called the early Universe is not early, in fact it is a rather advanced stage of cosmic evolution. The Universe began in a time much more remote than the 13.8 billion years as is currently assumed. Or even better, it did not begin, since Time, like Space, is a dimension of Reality that emerged from the dynamics of something more fundamental (the Source of Reality, the pair Fundamental Force and Elementary Field).
The evolutionary lines of the inanimate Forms
From the interactions among composite Structures—Systems of elementary Structures, Waves, and Vortices—which constitute Dark and Ordinary Matter, the fundamental building blocks of inanimate matter arise: atoms and molecules.
The vast and complex Process of Formation of Physical Reality—which unfolds from the void, the unorganized Elementary Field—progressively shapes the Universe into its observable state. This evolutionary sequence witnesses the emergence of Dark Matter, whose expansive, low-density structures play a crucial formative role.
In a distant epoch of cosmic development, these Structures were instrumental in initiating intense and sustained processes of Ordinary Matter formation. Gradually, this matter aggregated, coalescing into immense gas clouds, from which stars, galaxies, groups, clusters, and the vast superclusters—defining the intricate geometry of the cosmos—emerged.
This is a Universe full of networks of cosmic structures, whose complex dynamics is based on the delicate balance between gravity and the phenomenon called Dark Energy, two aspects of a single structural property of the Elementary Field, the causal substrate through which Information incessantly organizes into infinite evolving Forms.
A Universe in perpetual construction, governed by elementary and fundamental Physical Principles. These principles, through countless combinations and variations, generate an infinite web of interconnected, ever-evolving forms.
