Energy is the ability of a Form to express Action, to perform work. Energy is a property which can be transferred to other Forms or converted into different forms. Action with a form is Information, so energy is Information, In-form-action. Action is a flow quantity (a flow of events, of changes of the state of a field). Energy is action divided by time; it is a state.
