TFNR - Structured Energy "in" the Field: Effective Energy

Structured Energy "in" the Elementary Field corresponds to the organization of the Field that constitutes an InfoStructure. Effective Energy is the Energy of the Structure itself — the internal organization of Elementary Action that gives the Structure its identity, its Essence / Form, its Properties and Behaviors, and its causal permanence. It is the Energy "of" the Field that sustains the Essence / Form of the InfoStructure "in" the Field.

Effective Energy (for example Kinetic Energy, or the Energy associated with Electric Charge or Magnetic Spin) depends entirely on the Elementary Action that represents, allows, and maintains the Existence of an InfoStructure. It is the elementary Information that gives the Structure its Essence/Form in the Elementary Field.

All Elementary Action is always "of" the Field. Every Form or Structure is an organization of the dynamism of the event‑points of the Field — correlations of the Components and sub‑Components of Elementary Action. But organizational patterns that emerge, evolve, and acquire causal permanence (becoming Agents, Sources, Processes) are the building blocks of the Forms that populate the Universe. We call them Waves, Particles, Dark Halos, and so forth.

To study these Structures, we must conceptually extract them from the spontaneous turbulence of the Field in which they are immersed. We must distinguish their form, characteristics, Properties, Behaviors, and the Information that gives them Form — the elementary Information that we call Effective Energy. Effective Energy is therefore the Energy of the Structure, not of the Field's environment (which corresponds instead to Potential Energy, as described in the previous section).

The most representative form of Effective Energy is Kinetic Energy. Beyond the familiar formula ½·Mass·Velocity² (or ½·m·v²), we can describe it in terms of the hypotheses on the Fundamental Nature of Reality. Consider an elementary Vortex InfoStructure (an electron) moving with uniform linear motion at non‑relativistic speed. What does it mean that such an electron has Kinetic Energy?

Let's imagine an InfoStructure of the Vortex type, Elementary subtype (the usual electron). Let's imagine that such an electron is moving with uniform linear motion at non-relativistic speed (so we can neglect the relativistic terms that would increase the Mass of the Particle, contract its spatial extension and slow down its proper time). What does it mean that such an electron has a kinetic Energy? We know that the formula is 1/2 * Mass * Velocity squared. In the hypothesis of non-relativistic speed, as mentioned, we can assume that the Mass of the Particle in motion is equal to its Mass at rest. In this hypothesis, we can say that the kinetic Energy of that specific electron depends on its speed (squared). The greater the speed, the greater its kinetic Energy.

What changes in the organization of the dynamics of the event points that time by time support the Structure in question in the two hypotheses of rest and uniform linear motion? What changes at the level of organization in Space of correlations between the inhomogeneities in the temporal distributions of elementary spatial fluctuations, and of correlations between the other Components and sub-Components of the Elementary Action, of the organization schemes of the dynamics of the event points "of" the Field?

At low speeds, the shape of the Structure does not change substantially. What changes substantially between the condition of rest (rest with respect to the Elementary Field, we are talking about absolute rest, a concept not very welcome to conventional physics) and the condition of uniform linear motion is the organization of the correlations of the Component of the Elementary Action that we call Translation. In the absence of forces that alter the condition of motion, we can consider the motion as inertial.

In the condition of rest, observing the Structure, the electron, at the level of the Elementary Field, of its event points that are supporting the Information that gives shape to the Structure, in the Translation Component we would see a substantial absence of correlation "of the spatial orientation in the direction of motion" of the elementary spatial fluctuations.

In the situation of inertial motion, we would see a non-zero intensity of correlation "of the spatial orientation in the direction of motion" of the elementary spatial fluctuations. The greater the intensity of correlation, the greater the speed of the electron, the greater its kinetic Energy.

The case of relativistic motion is considerably more complex since at the level of the Components of the Elementary Action and their correlations there are also significant changes due to Perturbation, and probably also to Rotation:AxisOrientation. In terms of conventional physics this means that by progressively accelerating a particle to speeds ever closer to the limit of light, we witness a progressive increase in the total Mass accompanied by a contraction of its spatial extension, at least in the direction of motion, and a slowing down of its proper Time.

This means that the particle, the electron, "adapts" to the greater speed by reducing its volume and therefore considerably increasing its Mass density (the correlation of the Translation Component in the direction of Motion increases to the detriment of the correlation for maintaining the vortex shape). In light of the General Equivalence Principle, an increase in the density of Mass, among other things, is equivalent to a lower rate of flow of Time (higher intensity of correlation of the Perturbation Component, i.e. lower temporal density of Elementary Events).

For the Principle of Least Action (or stationary action), the vortex shape, in absence of constraints, of acting forces, of correlations of the Rotation Component:AxisOrientation in the Field configured as magnetic potential, will tend to orient itself so that the Spin axis is oriented in the direction of Motion or in the opposite direction. This minimizes the Elementary Action necessary to maintain the Existence and the Essence / Form of the Elementary Vortex InfoStructure.

All this reasoning can and must be extended to all the Components of the Elementary Action, and to their combinations, whose correlations represent the elementary Information that I call effective Energy in the various forms that correspond to the physical quantities that characterize the InfoStructures. We are obviously talking about Mass (which we could rename Massive Energy), Motion (the aforementioned Kinetic Energy), Charge (Electrical Energy proper to the InfoStructure) and Spin (Effective Magnetic Energy proper).

At the level of the Elementary Field, the event‑points that instant by instant support the Structure exhibit correlations of the Component of Elementary Action called Translation. In the condition of rest — rest with respect to the Elementary Field (absolute rest, absolute relative to the Field and not to the Space‑time Metric, which is itself a structured manifestation of the Field's dynamism) — the Translation Component shows no correlation of spatial orientation in the direction of Motion. In inertial motion, the Translation Component shows a non‑zero intensity of correlation in the direction of motion. The greater the intensity of correlation, the greater the speed, and the greater the Kinetic Energy.

In relativistic motion, the situation is more complex. Correlations of Perturbation and Rotation:AxisOrientation also change. As speed approaches the speed of light, the Structure adapts by reducing its spatial extension (in the direction of motion), increasing its Mass density, and slowing its proper Time. Higher Mass density corresponds to lower temporal density of Elementary Events (higher correlation of Perturbation). The vortex shape tends to orient its Spin axis along or opposite the direction of motion, minimizing the Elementary Action necessary to maintain the Structure's Existence and Essence / Form.

This reasoning extends to all Components of Elementary Action and their combinations. Their correlations represent the elementary Information that we call Effective Energy in its various forms: Mass (Energy structured as Mass), Motion (Kinetic Energy), Charge (Electric Energy proper to the InfoStructure), and Spin (Magnetic Energy proper).

More complex forms of Effective Energy arise from combinations of the basic Components: effective gravitational Energy (attraction/repulsion due to negative/positive Mass, Ordinary and Dark "attractive negative Mass", and Dark Energy as "repulsive positive Mass" respectively), effective electromagnetic Energy (emission/absorption of Energy as Electromagnetic Waves), and the nuclear Energies corresponding to weak and strong interactions.

Effective Energy is therefore the Energy in the Field that represents the energetic aspect of an InfoStructure — the internal organization of Elementary Action that gives it identity, effective boundaries, and causal permanence. It is distinct from Potential Energy, which is the Energy "of" the Field — the organization of the Field shaped by all other InfoStructures.

In the next chapter we will return to these themes and describe the various typologies of InfoStructures of invisible Dark Matter and visible Ordinary Matter, as well as Radiant Energy.
