The Physical Structures of Information, according to their nature, can be classified into two fundamental / pure types and a mixed type produced by various kinds of Physical Interactions between them:
- Waves: physical Structures of Propagation
- Vortices: physical Structures of Conservation
- Physical Interactions: Interactions that relate the Physical Structures of Propagation (Waves), the Physical Structures of Conservation (Vortices), and the related Physical Events that characterize the Dynamics and Evolution of the Physical Structures of Information, creating Mixed Physical Structures and more Complex Events
- Mixed Physical Structures: elementary particles come together to form complex structures at all dimensional scales — from hadrons made up of quarks and gluons, to atoms and molecules, through states of Matter (gases, liquids, solids, etc.), up to huge conglomerates of Matter in stars and galaxies. All this through the four fundamental natural forces or modes of interaction.
Physical Reality is characterized by the dynamics of the Structures of the two pure classes and their incessant interaction, which forms more complex composite or mixed Structures. Each class includes Structures both in the dark and in the ordinary side of Physical Reality.
Due to the complex phenomena known as the undulatory–corpuscular duality, in Physical Reality — in the quantum world — the strange behavior of the Structures of Matter and light creates confusion about the real nature of the Structures and their correct comprehension in terms of the Dimensions of Reality (Cause, Space, and Time), and about their proper classification as Waves or Vortices. Following the unity of the Field, we can grasp the unitary nature of the Structures of Information in terms of the organization of the Action (discrepancies/inhomogeneities of the distributions of Elementary Events) of the Field itself under the constant pressure of the Force.
Waves and Vortices share the same underlying nature — the organization of the dynamism of the Elementary Field — which nevertheless manifests in different forms. Therefore, despite the differences in their organizational patterns, we can think of Waves as Particles (for example, a single‑cycle Wave and the photon) and Particles as Waves (as in the quantum‑mechanical description of wave–particle duality), precisely because both types of InfoStructures find their dynamic and structural foundation in the Elementary Field. But we must not forget that this duality is only partial, and that the Phenomena involving the two types are necessarily different in depth, even if they appear similar on the surface.
I am referring in particular to the phenomenon of interference. Two photons, being bosons, can occupy the same space at the same time (they can pass through one another). Two electrons (being fermions) cannot occupy the same space (for example in the atom, or in a collision), and therefore cannot pass through one another. The deep nature of the interaction will thus be different in the case of Waves and Vortices, of Waves/photons and Particles.
To this reflection on wave–particle duality — especially with reference to the double‑slit experiment — further considerations must be added, both in a later section and more extensively in a future work I hope to publish, regarding the true nature of interference for both waves and particles, and the underlying dynamics, which find in the organization of the dynamism of the Elementary Field the true origin and manifestation of the phenomenon.
In particular, in the case of the famous experiment mentioned above, I am convinced that what are interpreted as interference patterns are not manifestations of a real interference of quantum objects (waves/photons in the case of light) with one another or with themselves, but rather the manifestation of the interference of those objects with the particular organization of the dynamism of the Field in the slits (in the space between the two walls that delimit each slit), which is also responsible for diffraction phenomena occurring even in the case of a single slit (or a single aperture). But this topic — so central and fundamental for understanding the Fundamental Nature of Physical Reality — will be discussed more extensively in the future.
According to their Mass density, we can identify:
- Energy Structures: null Mass density, massless Structures -> Waves -> Radiation
- Matter Structures: non‑null Mass density, massive Structures -> Vortices -> Ordinary Matter Particles and Dark Matter Halos

Energy structures
Energy Structures are Physical Structures of Information characterized by null Mass density, no Perturbation, no gradients, no discrepancies/inhomogeneities in the pre-temporal distributions of the Elementary Events, no deformations in the local rate of the flow of Time. They manifest correlations of Translation and of Rotation:AxisOrientation, and therefore deformations in the spatial orientation of the Elementary Events (linear momentum -> impulse) and in the orientation of the axes of the intrinsic vorticity of the event‑points (angular momentum -> polarization).
In this class of Physical Structures of Information we find:
- Gravitational Waves, which belong to the dark sector
- Electromagnetic Waves, which belong to the visible sector
Matter Structures
Matter Structures are Physical Structures of Information characterized by non‑null Mass density: Perturbation, gradients, inhomogeneities in the distributions of the intensities of the Elementary Events, and in the intensities of the deformations of the Elementary Field under the incessant pressure of the Fundamental Force.
In this class of Physical Structures of Information we find:
- Dark Matter Halos, Dark Structures that belong to the class of Vortices
- Ordinary Matter Particles, Visible Structures that belong to the class of Vortices
Dark Structures
Dark Structures are Physical Structures of Information (Matter Structures characterized by no null Mass density), large scale distributed weak density non-corpuscular structures, as depressions in dynamic structure of the Elementary Field.
Dark Structures are Physical Structures of Information (Matter Structures characterized by non‑null Mass density), large‑scale, weak‑density, non‑corpuscular structures, appearing as depressions in the dynamic structure of the Elementary Field.
They are not visible because they do not interact through Electromagnetic Waves / photons (at the normal wave lengths we can observe the world), even if they have all of the Properties of Physical Structures of Information as the visible Ordinary Matter, the Visible Structures, in particular Charge and electric phenomena and Spin and magnetic phenomena.
