Rotation, or Rotational Action, is the instantiation through which "Conservation" manifests at the most elementary level of Physical Reality.

It is the third fundamental Mode of manifestation of the Elementary Action, its third Component. The third of the Modes of Physical Action.

From a causal perspective, we can represent it as the Rotation Operator, the Operational Agent responsible for the emergence of inhomogeneities in the pre-temporal distributions (from now on "tau-distributions", or more briefly "τ-dist") of the sub-elementary pre-spatial (intrinsic rotational, manifesting as vorticity, with its sub-components of chirality and axis orientation) fluctuations ("sigma-fluctuations", or "σ-fluct") of the Elementary Field (resulting from an expansion/contraction of infinitesimal volumes). Inhomogeneities that we can represent as curl.

At the same time, from the variational point of view, Rotation manifests as inhomogeneities (torsion / twist -> curl) in the distributions of chirality and axis orientation of circulation / vorticity of the minute pre-spatial fluctuations resonating around the Planck scale.

These curls of Elementary Events, precisely because they occur on extremely small scales and at the level of individual event-points of the Field, can be called Micro-torsions.

Cause (expression of force) Sub-elementary dynamism Dynamic effect Observed variation of the micro-dynamism of event-points and its geometric implications
Internal interaction between the Force and the Field Local inhomogeneities in the density of τ-distributions of σ-fluctuations -> amplitude Perturbation / Gradient formation Variation of the infinitesimal event-point volume (local dilation or contraction) within the micro-dynamism of event-points
Field reaction (counter-force) produced by the manifestation of gradients Tendency to restoration of homogeneity of the density of τ-distributions of σ-fluctuations -> orientation Translation / Divergence formation Stretching of σ-fluctuations along the direction of divergence within the micro-dynamism of event-points
Combined field reactions (composed counter-forces) produced by the manifested divergences Interaction of divergences, tendency to conservation of homogeneities in the density of τ-distributions of σ-fluctuations -> vorticity -> chirality and axis orientation Rotation / Curl formation Vorticity of σ-fluctuations within the micro-dynamism of event-points

Rotation is the way in which the Elementary Field reacts to the formation and presence of inhomogeneities / divergences in the Translation Mode of Action, produced by the Action of the Fundamental Force on the Field, the way in which the Field responds to the interactions of Translation that tends to transform and conserve inhomogeneities in the pre-temporal distributions of Elementary Events. Rotation is the root of the emergence of the Dimensionality of Reality that I call Temporality, the fundament of Time.

In other words, Rotation is the Field's response which, still driven by the tension to restore homogeneity, but due to micro-interactions—occurring at the same event-points—between Translations with different directions, produces the opposite effect: it preserves inhomogeneities, transforming them into dynamic micro-torsions that tend to maintain anisotropies and more or less coherent structures over Time. Micro-torsions that in turn tend to produce regions of non-zero Perturbation, which themselves become sources of Translation and centers of Rotation, and so on, in a progressive unfolding of dynamic complexity.

The causal expression and the variational manifestation—two sides of the same coin—of this Mode of Elementary Action are governed by the Principle of Conservation, which, at the Level of Elementary Action, takes the form of the Principle of Least Action.

Rotation is the root of vorticity, in its fundamental aspects of chirality and axis orientation.

Rotation:Chirality

Rotation:Chirality is the first sub mode of Rotation within the Elementary Action. It describes the chirality—the directional sense of circulation—of Elementary Events in the Elementary Field, arising from inhomogeneities in the pre temporal distributions of chirality of vorticity that characterize sub elementary dynamism. In any region of the Field that, moment by moment, is supporting a vortex-type InfoStructure (and therefore endowed with Charge in addition to Mass, Spin, Motion, etc.), the Rotation:Chirality local correlations in the dynamism of event points that characterize that region (dependent correlations) are the root of the Charge of that InfoStructure. By contrast, Rotation:Chirality correlations associated with other charged InfoStructures present in adjacent regions of the Field (independent correlations) manifest as electric potential (electric potential energy, electric field, etc.). Operationally, Rotation:Chirality expresses the chirality of vorticity of the pre-spatial fluctuations—the oriented variational effects induced in the Elementary Field by the causal Action of the Fundamental Force. It is therefore the primary manifestation of the chirality of Elementary Action, and one of the most elementary expressions of Existence. The degree of correlation among Rotation:Chirality values within a contiguous set of event points defines the Elementary Energy associated with this Component of Elementary Action. This energy is what we identify as Charge and electric potentials, the foundational root of electric phenomena.

Rotation:AxisOrientation

Rotation:AxisOrientation is the second sub mode of Rotation within the Elementary Action. It describes the orientation of the vorticity axis of Elementary Events in the Elementary Field, arising from inhomogeneities in the pre temporal distributions of axis orientation of vorticity that characterize sub elementary dynamism.

In any region of the Field that, moment by moment, is supporting a vortex-type InfoStructure (and therefore endowed with Spin in addition to Mass, Charge, Motion, etc.), the Rotation:AxisOrientation local correlations in the dynamism of event points that characterize that region (dependent correlations) are the root of the Spin of that InfoStructure.

By contrast, Rotation:AxisOrientation correlations associated with other InfoStructures showing Spin present in adjacent regions of the Field (independent correlations) manifest as magnetic potential (magnetic potential energy, magnetic field, etc.).

Operationally, Rotation:AxisOrientation expresses the orientation of the axis of vorticity of the pre-spatial fluctuations'. It is therefore the primary manifestation of axis orientation of Elementary Action, and one of the most elementary expressions of Existence.

The degree of correlation among Rotation:AxisOrientation values within a contiguous set of event points defines the Elemental Energy associated with this Component of Elementary Action. This energy is what we identify as Spin and magnetic potentials, the foundational root of magnetic phenomena.

The causal perspective

Let me reiterate what I explained in the sections devoted to Perturbation and Translation concerning the causal perspective:

  • the causal perspective focuses on the active aspect of the Source's Agency,
  • the Operators of Reality are functional / operational derivations of the Primary Agent, of the Fundamental Force acting upon the Elementary Field,
  • the Operators are Entities not in the classical sense, but in their function of producing Existence, a Phenomenon—something that occurs, something that exists in the very act of generating Existence, a product of the dynamics of the inner interaction of the two aspects of the Source of Reality.

From the causal point of view, Rotation, in both its sub-Modes, can be represented as the Operator Rotation, a functional derivation of the active aspect of the Source of Reality that organizes the interacting reactions of the Elementary Field represented by Translation into intrinsic rotational patterns (vortical reorientation of the pre-spatial fluctuations), directed toward the conservation of the inhomogeneities within the Elementary Field in both the aspects of chirality and axis-orientation.

The variational perspective

Symmetrically, from the variational perspective, Rotation manifests as the re-Action of the Field to Translation, to divergences (Micro-flows) in the pre-temporal distributions of the vortical aspects of the sub-elementary pre-spatial fluctuations, resonating near the Planck scale.

I resume here what was stated in the corresponding subsection (The variational perspective) of the previous section dedicated to Translation about Micro-gradients, Micro-flows, Micro-torsions (or Micro-vorticities), Micro-states, about the infinitesimal portions of the Field I call "event-points", and about the fact that inhomogeneities tend to cause the re-Action of the Field, toward the restoration of homogeneity. The Field's reaction to these inhomogeneities, which I here call Perturbation, is part of this spontaneous process aimed at restoring homogeneity. These reactions generate oriented flows—flows of orientation—of more or less intense reorientation of the vortical (axial) directions of the elementary vortical fluctuations, of the Elementary Events.

These torsions in the pre-spatial fluctuations that represent Elementary Events, precisely because they occur on extremely small scales and at the level of the individual event-points of the Field, can be called Micro-torsions or Micro-vortices. I recall that here we are in the continuum, and that event-points are infinitesimal regions of the Field — observation points of its ceaseless micro dynamism. They are therefore not physical entities that compose the Field, but observation points of its properties and of its behavior at the local level, at ultra small dimensional scales, close to the Planck scale.

Rotation is therefore the Field's spontaneous way of reorganizing divergences (Translation) into curl patterns—localized intrinsic rotational regions—that embody the Principle of Conservation: every propagation of variations tends to generate intrinsic rotational persistence, every fluctuation tends to induce a point torsional memory that affects its own existence and causal permanence.

When discussing Translation, we recalled the two forms of Motion: linear motion and rotational motion (extrinsic rotation). When we speak of Rotation, we refer instead to intrinsic Rotation. This is a fundamental distinction.

Extrinsic rotation applies to Structures in the Field — to objects, Forms that actually rotate, that are characterized by rotational Motion. Just a few examples: an atom rotating in space, a baseball, a spinning top, a boomerang, the Moon, the Sun, a galaxy, and so on. Rotation of an object around a point.

When we speak of Rotation from the variational point of view, we are speaking of intrinsic rotation. This is not rotational motion of an object, nor of a region of the Field that is actually spinning. It is a far more elementary form of rotation: each point, each region of infinitesimal extension, exhibits a kind of rotation, a point-like vorticity. Nothing is rotating. Yet all the event-points of a region of the Field that displays non-zero Rotation values (Chirality and AxisOrientation) exhibit implicit rotation. Rotation of a point about itself.

This peculiar form of intrinsic rotation is the root of the extended form of intrinsic rotation manifested in particles endowed with Spin (fermions -> Vortex-like InfoStructures). This is why particle Spin is so strange and difficult to understand. Such Particles do not rotate about themselves. Every event-point of the region of the Field that, moment by moment, supports their Existence and their Essence/Form manifests intrinsic Rotation to some (given) degree. It is this characteristic that determines the Particle's angular momentum — intrinsic, indeed — its Spin, and its magnetic properties, without the Particle as a whole being in rotation.

In this context, Rotation is a form of Conservation produced by the Field in reaction to the Propagation of the most elementary Variations, to Translation—a Variation that takes the form of intrinsic (point by point) rotational dynamics, with chirality and axis-orientation of the vortical aspects of sub-elementary pre-spatial fluctuations.

Rotation can be seen and understood as Propagation and Conservation in Time.

From the point of view of the Elementary Events and the Dynamics of Elementary Action

The Operator Rotation, as a derived causal expression of the Force, transmutes the Component of Elementary Action that I call Translation into an incessant Process of Conservation within the elementary dynamism of the Field. This process manifests as emergence of vorticity of pre-spatial fluctuations. At the same time, Rotation—as a variational manifestation—is itself the result of that very Process of Conservation. Causality gives rise to Temporality.

In the world of Elementary Action, as we have seen, among the crucial questions we encounter are: what rotates, what is conserved, what propagates?

Here the crucial question is: what is actually rotating? In fact, nothing rotates. It is the Field itself—the dynamism of the Elementary Field at extremely small scales, near the Planck scale—that, through the interaction of Translation with differing orientation, tends to develop vorticity. This vorticity is characterized by chirality and by the orientation of the vorticity axis.

No region of the Field, no Structure within the Field, no object, no Form is rotating. What "rotates" is the vorticity of each event point of the Field. In this model, this vorticity is referred to as Intrinsic Rotation, to distinguish it from extrinsic Rotation, which we discussed in relation to Translation when speaking of the actual rotational motion of regions, Structures in the Field, objects, Forms, and so on.

The term intrinsic is borrowed from quantum mechanics, specifically from the mysterious notion of spin. This important property of elementary particles is associated with the quantity called intrinsic angular momentum—intrinsic precisely because it does not describe any overall rotation of the particle as a whole, but rather a kind of "implicit" internal rotation of every point of the Field that supports the particle's existence.

Another essential question arises: what is conserved? It is the inhomogeneities—manifesting as Perturbation and Translation—within the distributions of Elementary Events, alongside the correlation schemes and patterns of Relations between them.

What conserves are the pre-temporal distributions of the vorticity (chirality and axis orientation) of the Elementary Events, of the sub-elementary sigma-fluctuations. What conserves is the pre temporal aspect of the vorticity of Elementary Events.

Any deviation from homogeneity—any variation in the stochastic independence or in the correlation of the pre-temporal distributions of the Field's pre-spatial fluctuations—is poised between two competing lines of development.

On one hand, there is the Field's tendency to level inhomogeneities toward a restoration of homogeneity. On the other, the incessant creation of new inhomogeneities, which generate new Translation, produces an opposing tendency toward the conservation of those inhomogeneities. Depending on random interactions, the chaos—incessantly produced by the interaction of Force in its Action upon the Field—exerts partly a constructive function on inhomogeneity and partly a destructive, leveling action.

The entire sub-elementary dynamism of the Field unfolds in an articulated and complex process that manifests a slight prevalence of constructive action over destructive action. This is why something exists in Reality. Because at the fundamental level of Reality, conservative aspects somehow prevail (slightly) over destructive, disintegrative, and leveling aspects.

I believe the reason for this slight prevalence is that even those aspects of Elementary Action that we might interpret as disintegrating or leveling can, under certain conditions, participate in and enhance conservative aspects. Let me clarify: Translation, produced as a Field reaction capable of restoring homogeneity, can—if combined appropriately—produce vortical processes. These naturally tend to compose Translation into an "intrinsic rotational flow"—Rotation, precisely—characterized by a direction of rotation (chirality) and the orientation of the axis of such intrinsic rotation."

When transported to the level of the InfoStructures in the Field, this conservation through vorticity translates into an acquisition of stability (causal and variational permanence) by Vortex type Structures, characterized by a central core with negative Perturbation values and an external shell with positive Perturbation values (generally distributed over a larger volume, and therefore at lower density).

And the last essential question is: what propagates? What propagates are inhomogeneities of vorticity and axis-orientation in the distributions of Elementary Events and in their correlation schemes. Any deviation from isotropy in the vortical patterns of the Field tends to propagate through Rotation, generating micro-torsions and micro-vorticities at every scale.

Let me briefly resume here what was stated in the corresponding subsection of the previous section dedicated to Translation, adapting it to Rotation.

Absence of Rotation means that, at the level of each event-point, the pre-temporal distributions of vortical chirality and of the orientation of the axis of sub-elementary pre-spatial fluctuations are homogeneous (absence of temporal prevalence, of temporal discrepancies, in the two aspects of the vorticity of Elementary Events, chirality and axis orientation as said). In the absence of Rotation, the vortical orientation of elementary fluctuations is entirely random and stochastically independent among neighboring event-points.

The presence of Rotation (in one or both of its two sub-Modes: Chirality and Axis Orientation) implies that such pre-temporal distributions exhibit inhomogeneities in the corresponding sub-Modes.

In what follows, when I speak (for brevity) of vortical fluctuations, vortical amplitudes, etc., I mean the vortical aspect of the pre-spatial fluctuations, and the amplitude of the vortical component of those sub-elementary fluctuations of the Field.

The dynamics of the Elementary Field—the pre-temporal distributions of the vortical components of the pre-spatial fluctuations—is a fundamental aspect for deriving the Fundamental Physical Quantities associated with Rotation in its two sub-Modes Chirality and Axis Orientation respectively:

  • from the point of view "of" the Field:
    • electric potentials
    • magnetic potentials
  • from the point of view of InfoStructures "within" the Field:
    • electric "Charge"
    • magnetic "Spin"

The image of infinitesimal pulsations that we used in the sections on Perturbation and Translation acquires here an intrinsically rotational character — a form of local, point like vorticity, so to speak. Let's try to imagine an infinitesimal volume of the Field, comparable to the Planck scale, undergoing incessant torsional pulsation. The extension, shape, and orientation of this micro-vortex can be described by a stochastic function whose mean and variance depend on the intensity of the dynamism produced by the interaction between the intensity of the Fundamental Force and the resistance of the Field to torsional deformation.

At scales just above the Planck scale, chirality and axis orientation of these micro-torsions normally compensate, leaving the Field unstructured in this two sub-Modes of Elementary Action. But this tendency conflicts with the tendency to conservation of micro-vortical dynamism. The interaction between adjacent micro-vortices can lead to the formation of more or less persistent regions with a non-null chirality or non-null concordance of axis orientation. Every torsional variation tends to persist, generating rotational memory and influencing the causal permanence of the peculiar dynamism in the event-points involved.

Rotation can be seen and understood as Propagation and Conservation in Time.

And how does it happen that vorticity manifests within the dynamism of the Elementary Field at the level of a single event point? I recall that when we try to imagine the Formation of Reality at this sub elementary level, we focus on a hypothetical infinitesimal region of the Field, an extremely small volume with dimensions on the order of the Planck scale. And to begin, we assume that such a region—an event point—is isolated and does not interact with other event points, so that its dynamics are isolated and independent from the dynamics of the surrounding event points.

We have seen how Perturbation (inhomogeneities in the tau distributions of the amplitudes of sigma fluctuations, pre temporal discrepancies in the amplitudes of sub elementary fluctuations, of the Elementary Events) induces the formation of Translation (inhomogeneities in the tau distributions of the orientation directions of sigma fluctuations, pre temporal discrepancies in the orientation of sub elementary fluctuations, of the Elementary Events). We now examine how Translation induces the formation of Rotation (inhomogeneities in the tau distributions of the vorticity of sigma fluctuations, pre temporal discrepancies in the vorticity of sub elementary fluctuations, of the Elementary Events).

In various parts of this work, I have summarized this Process by saying that Rotation is produced by the interaction of Translation with differing orientation converging into an event point. This formulation is correct and captures the most relevant modality of Rotation generation.

However, before examining this Process, we must look more closely at the dynamism of the Field in its most elementary—or "sub elementary"—form, as I have called this sub Level of pre physical Reality, entirely abstract and conceptual, non manifest, which I use solely for descriptive purposes, to allow us to imagine or visualize what, in fact, cannot be imagined nor visualized.

Let us return to the imaginary spherical form of an event point, which we discussed in the section dedicated to Translation. Because of the indeterminacy/uncertainty that dominates the sub elementary dynamism of the Field, the shape of the event point, in its sudden and incessant pulsations (expansion/contraction), fluctuates around the spherical form. A quasi sphere in continuous variation around an average shape, with a certain variance.

The fluctuation of the shape, as well as the fluctuation of the extension of its volume, depends both on the expression of the Force and on the resistance opposed by the Field—a resistance that is not linear, just as the expression of the Force is not linear. They depend on how deformed the Field is and on the intensity of its re Action. Even though this is the most elementary "unit of existence" we can imagine, its dynamic behavior is complex, due to the non linearity of the relationship between the Action of the Force (ratio of intensity/deformation produced) and the re Action of the Field (ratio of deformation experienced/resistance).

This non linearity causes torsional dynamics to appear within the incessant deformation of the hypothetical sphere—dynamics that causally precede the Translation produced by the Field's re Action to the expansion/contraction pulsations. These torsional dynamics interact with and modify the Action that manifests in the Translation Component, making the dynamics of event points even more complex, chaotic, and turbulent. I would call this torsional dynamic a form of natural, or spontaneous, vorticity in the dynamism of the Field.

If, moreover, we imagine the event point in question as surrounded by infinitely many event points within the continuity of the Field, all interacting with contributions of decreasing intensity according to the inverse square of the distance, contributions whose propagation occurs as described in the previous section dedicated to Translation, we easily understand how high the complexity of the dynamism of the Elementary Field is—taking the form of chaotic turbulence commonly associated with concepts such as quantum fluctuations, quantum vacuum, zero point energy, etc.

We must not imagine event points, however small and abstract, as monolithic and ideal objects with a single, unitary dynamism. On the contrary, even though I have hypothesized that the Field manifests dimensional resonances near the Planck scale, and since the dimensional limit of sub elementary fluctuations is virtually tending toward minus infinity, we must imagine event points as infinitesimal (but not point like) regions of the Field that themselves manifest an internal, articulated, complex, and turbulent dynamism. It is this dynamic complexity that allows us to hypothesize deformations of event points that affect their extension (expansions/contractions of volume), as well as their shape, the propagation, direction, and orientation of the torsion axis, and so on.

We are still observing event points as dynamic centers, independent regions of the Field, even when we assume that their deformations are produced by interaction with the surrounding event points (always within the continuity of the Field, of course). We have not yet reached the causal and variational level of Reality in which the "correlations" (Relations) among the dynamic behaviors of neighboring event points assume the centrality that belongs to them—the informational, energetic level of Physical Reality. The level where, from the Components of the Elementary Action—Perturbation, Translation, Rotation—the Fundamental Physical Quantities emerge (Metric/Mass, Motion (acceleration and inertia), electric Charge and potential, magnetic Spin and potential), along with the other quantities that characterize composite InfoStructures (strong and weak nuclear interactions, etc.).

What I have just described is another, more detailed and deeper way of saying that the interaction of Translation produces Rotation. We can say that Translation is produced by — or is the manifestation of — the asymmetric pulsations of event points described above. And we may imagine that different manifestations of temporal discrepancy in the directionality of pre-spatial fluctuations—of the Elementary Events—with different orientations can interact within the same sub-region of an event-point, producing a torsional deformation in the dynamism of the Field in that sub-region, which in the limit may coincide with the entire event-point in question.

Whether the interaction of Translation affects the event-point only partially or affects it entirely, or in whatever way we choose to represent the process through which such dynamism is generated, what we would observe (if we could ever observe it directly) would be the appearance of Rotation, a temporal discrepancy (or prevalence, whichever term we prefer) in the chirality and/or in the orientation of the axis of the "natural spontaneous vorticity" of the Field at that point.

From the point of view of the Fundamental Principles of Evolutionary Dynamics

Rotation is an instantiation of the Operator of Reality Conservation that expresses the Fundamental Principle I call Principle of Conservation: the mutations described by the Principle of Variation, which always tend to propagate as described by the Principle of Propagation, the incessant variations of the dynamic conditions of Entities, the Events, and the Relations among them, always tend to conserve.

The way Rotation manifests itself in the construction of Reality is described by the Principle of Least Action, which is itself a specification of the more general Principle of Conservation.

This principle, in particular, describes how the Elementary Field responds to the manifestation of Translation—to the reactions of the Field to the inhomogeneities in the pre-temporal distributions of the minute sub-elementary pre-spatial variations resonating near the Planck scale—in a natural trend toward conserving inhomogeneity in the dynamism of the Field, and how this Process generates conservation, vorticity, torsion, and curl.

This dynamic is the root of "Temporality" and the dimension of Time.

The Information / Energy perspective

Up to this point we have spoken about Action. To move from the Level of Action to that of Information / Energy, we must ideally bring Time to a halt. Here too we have three levels of observation from which we can attempt to characterize their respective forms of Energy: the first, being a partial perspective—purely (pre-)spatial—can be regarded as a kind of "virtual" Energy, partial by its very nature. The second, and even more so the third level of observation, leads us toward increasingly complete concepts and forms of Energy, progressively closer to the notions of Energy that are familiar to us and that we associate with the Fundamental Physical Quantities: Metric/Mass, Motion, Charge, and Spin. We can analyze the energetic aspect of the dynamics of the Elementary Field from the two perspectives mentioned above: that of event-points, and that of volumes—larger regions that we may regard as sets of event-points, or rather, continuous regions that can ideally be represented as sets of event-points. In reality, we will use not two but four perspectives. For greater clarity, event-points can be analyzed from a partial, purely pre-spatial point of view (restricting ourselves to Elementary Events, the elementary spatial fluctuations that exhibit dimensional resonances around the Planck scale), and from an overall spatial-temporal point of view (that is, the pre-temporal distributions of the sub-elementary pre-spatial fluctuations — the two conceptual pre-physical perspectives on the Elementary Events).

For convenience and clarity, I will restate the list that has already been presented several times:

  • Event-points partial perspective: first level of inhomogeneity, purely pre-spatial (Level of Elementary Events – pre-spatial) -> Pre-Spatial Proto-Energy
  • Event-points complete perspective: second level of inhomogeneity, pre-temporal of pre-spatial (Level of Elementary Events – pre-temporal) -> Pre-Temporal Proto-Energy
  • Event point perspective compared with the Field: third level of inhomogeneity, discrepancies of pre-temporal of pre-spatial (Level of Elementary Action) -> Elementary Energy of the Unstructured Field (Pre-Spatial Pre-Temporal Proto-Energy)
  • Regions of the Field perspective, sets of more than one event-point: fourth level of inhomogeneity, spatial correlations between pre-temporal distributions of pre-spatial fluctuations (Level of Information / Energy) -> Information / Energy -> Fundamental Physical Quantities: Metric (the pre-spatial dimension becomes the physical Space, and the pre-temporal one becomes the physical Time) / Mass, Motion, Charge and Spin, and other more complex physical quantities

Here I return to what I said about Perturbation and Translation from the standpoint of Information/Energy, and I attempt to reformulate it for Rotation—no longer focusing on the amplitude or the orientation of pre spatial fluctuations, but on their prevailing vortical aspects (chirality and axis orientation).

- Event-points partial perspective: first level of inhomogeneity, purely pre-spatial (Level of Elementary Events – pre-spatial) -> Pre-Spatial Proto-Energy

As we did for Perturbation and Translation, let us first consider the event-point perspective, and only from the spatial point of view—or rather, from what will emerge, through the dynamics of the Elementary Field, as the "Rotation" Component of the Elementary Action, in its two sub-Components chirality and axis orientation, the root of Charge and of electric phenomena and of Spin and of magnetic phenomena respectively. Imagine an infinitesimal volume that expands and is then pushed to contract and return to the "standard" extension of the infinitesimal volume we have placed under observation—or even to contract below its "normal" extension due to the Field's reaction to expansion (a reaction caused by the expansion of the event-points in the surrounding regions, under the incessant pressure of the Fundamental Force).

A kind of pulsation produced by the Action of the Force upon the Field and by the Field's reaction, which expresses a counterforce. In both the phase of expansion and that of the subsequent contraction, Action and re-Action manifest themselves in the form of Translation: a (re)orientation of the directional pattern of elementary spatial fluctuations, which becomes predominant in the temporal distribution of those fluctuations.

And, as mentioned above, because of internal and external interactions, shape asymmetries, and so on, the pulsations tend to manifest and sustain vortical aspects in the dynamism of the Field at the level of pre spatial fluctuations. This vorticity, in its most elementary aspects, can be imagined as characterized by a handedness (left handed or right handed) and by an orientation of the vorticity axis. Together with the amplitude of the pulsations and their direction, chirality and axis orientation are the principal components of the Field's dynamism that manifests as primary turbulence with dimensional resonance around the Planck scale.

The manifestation of this vorticity, in addition to contributing to the formation and maintenance of sub elementary turbulence, supports the preservation of the inhomogeneities that underlie the formation of Physical Reality. This tendency toward conservation interacts incessantly with the tendency to restore homogeneity that is inherent in the Translation Component. These two tendencies keep the sub elementary dynamism of the Field in a state of continuous disequilibrium, which is the root of the creative and evolutionary power of the Source at the most elementary level.

Rotation interacts with, and is influenced by, Translation.

A practical example is that of an electromagnetic wave—whether multi cycle, like radio waves, or single cycle, like a photon—propagating through the Elementary Field. What propagates here, in addition to Translation itself (whose correlations we perceive as the propagation of linear momentum), is also Rotation:AxisOrientation (whose correlations we perceive as angular momentum in propagation, with the direction of the axis orientation manifesting as the polarization of the wave).

Another example is an elementary particle (an electron) in propagation. Here, in addition to the propagation of Perturbation (the electron's Mass), we observe the propagation of Translation, which manifests as Motion (inertial or accelerated, depending on the presence in the Field of a kinetic gravitational, electromagnetic, etc. potential). And again, we see the propagation of Rotation:Chirality, which manifests as the electric Charge of the moving electron, and Rotation:AxisOrientation, observed as its magnetic Spin.

Even for Rotation, if we consider only the vortical orientation of the elementary spatial fluctuations and not their temporal distributions, we may regard the most elementary form of Energy—which, strictly speaking, we should call "virtual" Energy—as an "elementary deformation": the change in spatial vortical orientation of the expansive-contractive dynamics of event-points, of the imaginary infinitesimal volumes whose dynamics we ideally wish to analyze. A deformation that varies incessantly within the fluctuations, the elementary pulsations.

Here too, for the vortical aspects, we can distinguish between potential proto-Energy (the characteristic proto-Energy of each instant of the expanded and contracted state—altered, inhomogeneous, deformed in any case) and the proto-Energy expressed in the process of expansion and contraction (which we may refer to as effective proto-Energy).

The presence of a chiral orientation in what we have imagined as a pulsation—an expansion/contraction of an infinitesimal region of the Field, in what we call an event-point—constitutes a first form of proto-Energy. Through all the observational levels we have envisioned, and which I will attempt to illustrate below just as I did in the previous sections for Perturbation and Translation, this proto-Energy leads to the Fundamental Physical Quantity we call Charge (for the InfoStructures within the Field) and to electric potential (for the unstructured regions of the Field).

The same applies to the orientation of the vorticity axis. The presence of an orientation of the vorticity axis inherent in a pulsation also constitutes a first form of proto-Energy, which, at more complex levels, leads to the Fundamental Physical Quantity we call Spin (for the InfoStructures within the Field) and to magnetic potential (for the unstructured regions of the Field).

- Event-points complete perspective: second level of inhomogeneity, pre-temporal of pre-spatial (Level of Elementary Events – pre-temporal) -> Pre-Temporal Proto-Energy

Symmetrically to what was stated for the Perturbation and Translation Modes, here too we can identify a second form of Energy. It can be conceived as a deformation / inhomogeneity in the temporal distribution of the spatial vortical chirality and axis orientation in pulsations described above, which corresponds to the Elementary Action in the Mode/Component I call Rotation.

Here too, we are dealing with a sui generis form of Energy, one that nonetheless represents a bridge to the third form we will encounter shortly. At this stage, a form—albeit still embryonic—of relation appears for the first time. The pre-temporal distribution (or rather, in what will emerge as the temporal dimension) of the elementary fluctuations, which in this expression focuses on the prevailing vortical pre-spatial chirality and axis orientation of those pre-spatial fluctuations to which the corresponding pre-temporal amplitudes are associated, is a relation dominated by the Principle of Least Action.

In this context, Energy can be identified with the asymmetry / inhomogeneity / polarization of such pre-temporal distributions. If the pre-spatial amplitude and pre-temporal duration of the fluctuations are not uniformly distributed across the pre-temporal spectrum in terms of duration, the dynamics of the Field will tend to restore homogeneity.

This tendency and the micro flows associated with it—what I call Translation—manifest as a reaction of the Field. It can be seen as an interaction and a vortical reorientation of the micro flows, generating and sustaining micro torsions characterized by chirality and axis orientation.

This vortical dynamics within an event point tends to influence the dynamism of adjacent event points, potentially inducing vorticity as a reactive dynamic aimed at minimizing the amount of Elementary Action involved in the Field's reaction. This can be interpreted as a dynamic of conservation — a form of intrinsic rotation, an event point vorticity — which tends to channel the micro flows (Translation) converging toward the micro torsion.

Let us return to the image of the oscillator—which includes a random component and exhibits a chaotic attractor that draws its expansion/contraction dynamics toward a mean value with a given variance, dependent on various internal and external factors—oscillating with an amplitude confined within a sufficiently narrow interval. Up to this point, we have seen that its "dynamic modes" express themselves in forms that can be traced back to Perturbation and Translation. If we introduce a new vortical dynamic mode, we can then imagine our oscillator as a pulsating point like gyroscope (or quasi point like, given the infinitesimal yet non zero pre spatial extension), in which the sense of rotation (chirality) and the orientation of the rotation axis represent, respectively, the Components of Action that I call Rotation:Chirality and Rotation:AxisOrientation.

It is possible to hypothesize that, even at this sub elementary pre spatial and pre temporal level, precise relationships arise between, on the one hand, the amplitudes of expansion/contraction and the orientation of such fluctuations, and on the other, the "chiral and axial orientation of the vorticity"—relationships that remain influenced, to some degree, by the indeterminacy that lies at the foundation of Physical Reality (ontological indeterminacy).

If the interval in which vorticity manifests is, for most of the time, positioned far from the "standard" point (perfect randomness) in the spectrum of possible values of chirality and axiality, we may say that the Field, in the event point under consideration, possesses an energy associated with the discrepancies between the two pre temporal distributions within the domain of one or both the two sub Modes of Rotation. It is, in this sense, a kind of autocorrelation of Rotation within itself, in its chiral and axial aspects.

This applies to Perturbation and Translation, as we have seen above and recalled here. But it also applies to Rotation. What changes is the object of the pre-temporal distributions. For Perturbation, the relevant quantities are the amplitudes of the elementary pre-spatial fluctuations—that is, of the Elementary Events. For Translation the relevant quantities are the orientations of those pre- spatial fluctuations. For Rotation, instead, the orientation of chirality and axiality.

The pre temporal variability of the chirality and axiality of the vorticity associated with pre spatial fluctuations adds to the variability of their amplitude and directional orientation, further increasing the incessant deformation of event points—their departure from the ideal spherical form. This is a pre spatial deformation which, over regions several orders of magnitude larger than the Planck scale, becomes compensated, rendering the emergent Space completely flat. It is instead Time, emerging from the pre temporal aspect of the dynamism of the Elementary Field, that manifests the variability (curvature) we generically associate with Space time, as in GR.

Spatial flatness, local temporal variability, and local variability of the limit of the propagation speed of Causality, Action, Information/Energy—this is the framework that my model hypothesizes and proposes, as an alternative to the (in many respects equivalent) framework proposed by relativistic physics.

- Event point perspective compared with the Field: third level of inhomogeneity, discrepancies of pre-temporal of pre-spatial (Level of Elementary Action) -> Elementary Energy of the Unstructured Field (Pre-Spatial Pre-Temporal Proto-Energy)

As already mentioned with regard to Perturbation and Translation, this level examines the discrepancy between the dynamism of the Field as manifested within an individual event point and the average dynamism of the Field as a whole—the infinite Universe or as a surrounding region vastly larger than the extension of the event point itself. It is the event point–centric counterpart of the Field level correlations described in the next Level (Level of Information/Energy). Here, the focus is not on correlations among many event points, but on how a single event point performs compared to the average dynamism of the Field.

Discrepancies can be considered as pre temporal asymmetries. Each event point is part of the fluctuating dynamism of the Elementary Field. When an event-point exhibits non uniform pre temporal distributions of the orientation of pre spatial fluctuations, this manifests as local discrepancy, temporal asymmetry, deviation from its intrinsic fluctuation pattern. These discrepancies constitute a localized form of Translation, but now seen from within the event point, not from the Field's (global) perspective.

From the point of view of the event point response, Elementary Action in its Mode Rotation appears as a further re balancing re-Action of the Field, that tends to produce the opposite effect, the conservation of inhomogeneity. In each event point, the interaction between incoming micro flows (Translation) and the micro torsions of surrounding event points (Rotation) promotes the generation and maintenance of Rotation. Like spinning tops—infinitesimal gyroscopes—each event point participates in and sustains the local vorticity of the Field, channeling Elementary Action into micro processes that tend toward self preservation. Inhomogeneities that would normally be subject to the incessant rebalancing reaction of sub elementary dynamism tend instead to persist, hindering and redirecting the Translation micro flows.

These antagonistic processes—embodied by Translation on one side and Rotation on the other—mutually obstruct and simultaneously nourish each other within an endless turbulence. When, within a given event point, they come into balance through perfect randomness, through perfect stochastic independence; or when the predominance of one over the other reveals asymmetries in the pre temporal distribution of the orientation of pre spatial fluctuations, or in the chirality and/or axiality of their vorticity; when all this exposes discrepancies between the peculiar dynamics of the event point under examination and the average dynamism of the Field within a significant neighborhood—then Elementary Energy (Proto Energy) manifests at the level of that individual event point, in its relation to the general behavior of the surrounding Field.

Again, returning to the oscillator analogy, consider an oscillator with a random component, attracted toward a mean value by a chaotic attractor with a given variance. If the orientation of its pre-spatial fluctuations most frequently falls within a specific range of directions, then we can say that it possesses Elementary Energy, understood as the discrepancy between two temporal distributions (deformed vs. standard, the latter assumed to be homogeneous in orientation).

Returning to the oscillator analogy, let us consider an oscillator with a random component, attracted toward a mean value by a chaotic attractor with a given variance. With regard to Translation, we have seen that if the orientation of its pre spatial fluctuations falls more frequently within a specific range of directions, then we may say that it possesses Elementary Energy, understood as the discrepancy between two temporal distributions (the deformed one versus the standard one, the latter being considered homogeneous in orientation).

If we also take into account the chirality and the axiality of the vorticity that a pre spatial fluctuation may manifest, then the oscillator can exhibit intrinsic rational modes (of the event point in itself, therefore) with a pre temporal prevalence of a given chirality or a given orientation of the vorticity axis. The shape of the oscillator's pulsations in the pre spatial dimensions becomes highly complex and displays an incessant evolution—complexity and evolution that will be fundamental in producing and sustaining the sub elementary turbulence that so strongly influences the dynamism of the unstructured Field and its capacity to evolve into dynamic processes tending toward that greater stability and causal/variational persistence capable of giving rise to the Information Structures encountered at more complex levels of Reality.

Elementary Energy is always intended as a proto energetic bridge between the pre physical, conceptual and abstract, sub elementary domain that I use to describe and visualize how the dynamism of the Field is incessantly generated by the expression of the Force, and more articulated forms capable of supporting the emergence of Physical Reality in its full complexity. A proto energetic form corresponding to Elementary Action.

Thus we may say that an event point manifests a null, positive, or negative value of Rotation:Chirality, and therefore, Elementary Energy in that particular Component of Elementary Action, if the pre temporal distribution of the chirality of vorticity of the Field's pre-spatial fluctuations at that point exhibits a null (no vorticity), positive (same chirality / handedness), or negative (opposite chirality / handedness) discrepancy: with respect to the "homogeneous" pre temporal distributions of randomly chirally oriented pre-spatial fluctuations -> no Charge / no electric potential with respect to the "average" pre temporal distributions of the entire Field, or of a sufficiently large region of it that includes the event-point in question -> Electric potential (with respect to the unstructured Field) and/or (with respect to Structures in the Field)

As already said, the mean provides only an extremely synthetic and "rudimentary" discrepancy index. It may therefore be preferable to construct more sophisticated discrepancy indices.

- Regions of the Field perspective, sets of more than one event-point: fourth level of inhomogeneity, spatial correlations between pre-temporal distributions of pre-spatial fluctuations (Level of Information / Energy) -> Information / Energy -> Fundamental Physical Quantities: Metric (the pre-spatial dimension becomes the physical Space, and the pre-temporal one becomes the physical Time) / Mass, Motion, Charge and Spin, and other more complex physical quantities

Rotation, in both of its sub Modes, just like Translation and Perturbation, are non manifest aspects of the dynamism of the Elementary Field. They are "non manifest" because they refer to phenomena occurring at the level of event points, at unfathomably small dimensional scales, where relational aspects exist only in an entirely embryonic form.

We are speaking of a causal and variational level of Reality that lies far beyond the Level of InfoStructures, the level we are made of and through which we come to know the world.

What is manifest — what we can actually observe of Physical Reality — are the Relations, or more precisely the correlations among the Components of Elementary Action. It is the organizational patterns of these correlations that we observe, and that in this model I call InfoStructures: Waves, Particles, Interactions.

A first genuine form of Energy, where we can observe the emergence—the presence—of correlations among the pre-spatial and pre-temporal dynamics of a set of event points, which we may ideally identify/observe/analyze within a region, however tiny, of the Elementary Field. Here we can ideally interrupt the pre-temporal flow and "take a snapshot" of the pattern of correlations among the Processes that characterize the dynamics of event points.

When we look at the Elementary Field from the standpoint of the correlations of Rotation (a synthetic term I use to identify the inhomogeneities in the pre-temporal distributions of the (prevailing) chirality and /or axial orientation of elementary pre-spatial fluctuations at the level of the Field's event points), observing from the point of view of the Field itself, in the case of chirality we see "electric potential", which in its most familiar expression can be identified as electric potential energy, and in the case of axis orientation we see "magnetic potential", which in its most familiar expression can be identified as magnetic potential energy,

Observing the same phenomenon from the point of view of InfoStructures within the Field, we see electric Charge, in the case of chirality, and Spin, in the case of axis orientation, two form of effective Energy.

In other words, the correlation of Rotation:Chirality in a portion of the Field defines its Elementary Energy structured in the component Rotation, which we call electric Energy, in its two aspects: electric potential and effective Charge. Symmetrically for axial orientation, the correlation of Rotation:AxisOrientation in a portion of the Field defines its Elementary Energy structured in the component Rotation, which we call magnetic Energy, in its two aspects: magnetic potential and magnetic Charge.

Charge and electric potential are the organized (respectively structured and unstructured) manifestations of Rotation: electric potential and effective manifestations as persistence of correlated chirality, magnetic potential and effective manifestations as persistence of correlated axis orientation, as an effect of the interaction between the Rotation:Chirality and/or Rotation:AxisOrientation structured within an InfoStructure (effective Energy / Information) and the Rotation induced in the Field (potential Energy / Information, generated by other InfoStructures or by other Phenomena) in the region through which the InfoStructure is propagating at each moment in Time. Rotation is therefore the energetic substrate of electric and magnetic (and obviously electro-magnetic) Phenomena, the bridge between variational perturbative inhomogeneities in the dynamics of the Field and macroscopic electric and magnetic Structures and Phenomena.

I will return to these themes in the next chapter, when I discuss Information / Energy, and in particular the Energy "of" the Field and the Energy "in" the Structured Field.

Formulation in vector calculus

As seen, Rotation can be understood as an inhomogeneity in τ distributions of chirality and/or axis orientations of vorticity of σ fluctuations. In vector calculus, such inhomogeneities are embodied by the vector operator called "curl" (CURL or ROT), which describes the infinitesimal circulation of a vector field in space. At each point of the field, the curl is represented by a vector whose length and direction denote the magnitude and axis of the maximum circulation. Formally, the curl of a field is defined as the circulation density at each point.

Resuming the thermodynamic analogy, a scalar field such as temperature provides only a synthetic description of a deeper vectorial dynamics. A positive divergence of the heat flux corresponds to a local source of thermal energy, while a negative divergence corresponds to a sink. Yet this scalar field description is merely a coarse projection of the underlying motions of molecules, whose velocities form a genuine vector field.

When linear heat flux streams with different directions intersect within a region of a gas, the molecular dynamics does not remain purely linear: the interaction of these flows tends to generate turbulent structures, including local vortical circulation. Such vortices arise from the interplay between linear transport and pre existing rotational micro motions, producing inhomogeneous patterns of circulation embedded within the broader turbulent flow. In this sense, both the divergence of the heat flux and the emergence of vortical micro structures reflect the behaviour of a deeper vector dynamics that the scalar temperature field can only summarize in a synthetic way.

A structurally analogous situation appears in the Elementary Field, though at a more fundamental and pre temporal level. Translation is the Field's reaction to inhomogeneities of Perturbation and transports both Perturbation and Rotation across event points. When multiple Translation flows with different directions converge within the same event point, the σ fluctuations tend to develop local vorticity. The pre temporal inhomogeneity of this vorticity — in chirality and axis orientation — is what I designate as Rotation.

In vector calculus, the curl operator provides a compact differential representation of precisely these two structural aspects of local vorticity. The direction of the curl vector specifies the orientation of the axis around which infinitesimal circulation is maximized, while its sign relative to a chosen orientation encodes the handedness (right handed or left handed) of that circulation. The magnitude of the curl expresses the intensity of this local rotational tendency. The orientation of the curl vector therefore provides a direct mathematical analogue of what I designate as Rotation:AxisOrientation: it identifies the direction along which the vortical configuration of σ fluctuations is aligned, while its sign encodes the corresponding chirality. Or, with a different nuance, it also corresponds to the amount of Elementary Action that manifests in the event point along the direction of its vortical development — that is, its helicity.

This makes curl uniquely suited to represent, in a synthetic mathematical form, the two defining ingredients of Rotation in the Elementary Field: chirality, corresponding to the sense of circulation of σ fluctuations, axis orientation, corresponding to the direction along which the vortical configuration is aligned.

In turbulent thermodynamic flows, the same structure appears at a derived level: when linear fluxes and pre existing vortical motions interact within a turbulent region, the resulting circulation patterns exhibit both a preferred axis and a definite handedness. The curl operator captures precisely these features, distilling the complex interplay of linear transport and rotational micro motions into a single vector quantity.

In the Elementary Field, this analogy becomes structurally deeper. The curl operator serves as the mathematical analogue of the intrinsic Rotation Mode: it formalizes how infinitesimal circulation — with its specific chirality, axis orientation, and helicity — emerges from the micro dynamics of the Field whenever Translation flows with different directions interact within the same event point. Curl thus provides the appropriate vector calculus representation of Rotation as an inhomogeneous vortical configuration of σ fluctuations.

Let me stress once again that when I speak of rotation, chirality, axis orientation, helicity, and related notions, I am not referring to the motion of a physical body in a spatial environment (physical dynamism that falls within the phenomenology of the Translation Component, as previously discussed → Rotational motion). Here for the Rotation Mode, I am always referring to an intrinsic dynamism that manifests within an event point — an arbitrarily microscopic region of the Field, comparable to the Planck scale. It is therefore a local dynamism, confined within that event point, which indeed interacts with neighbouring event points and may give rise to a collective motion of the considered region of the Field, yet whose fundamental nature and sub elementary phenomenological manifestation are fully described by a point like process (with an infinitesimal, though non zero, pre spatial extension).

The phenomenological perspective

Rotation, in its two sub-Modes, manifests phenomenologically through electric Charges and potentials, and through magnetic Spins and potentials.

Thus, Rotation should not be understood merely as intrinsic rotation manifests in the Elementary Field, but the very mechanism through which electromagnetic dynamics arise.

Interaction between Charge and Electric potential

"Charge" and "Electric potential" are commonly described, in conventional physics, as the source and the field of the electromagnetic interaction: a charged particle experiences a force proportional to the electric field, and the electric field is the spatial gradient of the electric potential. This description, while operationally effective, conceals the deeper dynamical and ontological structure underlying the phenomenon.

In the language of this model, Charge is the manifestation of Elementary Action in the Mode I call Rotation:Chirality, organized into a specific form that can be traced back to an InfoStructure (what I refer to as a "structured Field"). By contrast, the Electric potential is the manifestation of the same Component of Elementary Action, but in the form of correlations distributed across a region of the Field that are not organized into an InfoStructure ("unstructured Field").

The difference is subtle but substantial. It is a matter of perspective. In the case of Charge, the focus is on the peculiar pattern that organizes the correlations among the inhomogeneities in the pre temporal distributions of the chirality of the vorticity of pre spatial fluctuations. In a compact form, we can say that it concerns the correlation patterns of Rotation:Chirality. Vortex type InfoStructures of the elementary subtype (electrons, or quarks as far as we know) possess this property: the electric Charge that derives precisely from the chirality of their vortical form, associated with the peculiar organization of the tau distributions of the sigma fluctuations of the sub elementary dynamism of the Field.

In the case of "electric potential," the focus shifts to the Field itself: to how the presence of InfoStructures with non zero Charge influences the chirality of the vorticity of the Field's sub elementary dynamism, giving rise to a certain degree of correlation among the inhomogeneities in the pre temporal distributions of the chirality of the vorticity of pre spatial fluctuations. In compact form, we can say that it concerns the diffuse correlation of Rotation:Chirality within the Field.

Electric potentials may also form spontaneously within the turbulent processes that characterize the Field's dynamism across various dimensional scales. And even in the dark sector of Physical Reality — within the extended turbulence distributed over cosmic scales, in the dark halos that host galaxies and even larger cosmic structures — weak but extremely extended electric potentials may arise. Because of their extremely low density, we may refer to them as diffuse chirality.

In this model, as we will see in the chapter dedicated to Forms, when discussing the cosmic structures of the dark sector, I have hypothesized that — due to the natural selection of Structures emerging from spontaneous formation processes over the innumerable epochs that led to the structuring of the present Universe — one chirality has come to predominate. Among the observable consequences, we should expect to find a statistical predominance of a given chirality in the large scale structures populating the Cosmic Web (rotation direction of galaxies, clusters, etc.). Even the predominance of matter over antimatter may be the result of a diffuse chirality extending across immense regions of the Universe.

Just as in the case of Translation — where "the presence of Translation" means that the correlation of the Elementary Action, in the Mode I call Translation, is greater than zero— here the presence of an Electric potential means that the Field, in the region under consideration, exhibits non zero correlations of Rotation:Chirality in the dynamism of the Field in the region observed. These correlations are the organized, non random component of the pre spatial fluctuations that encode the electric potential of the Field.

Phenomenologically, the interaction between "Charge" and "Electric potential" appears as:

  • attraction or repulsion between charged bodies,
  • variations of kinetic energy,
  • acceleration of InfoStructures in the direction of the electric field.

But in this model, these Phenomena are not intended as caused by a "force" acting at a distance. They arise from the reorganization of the correlations of the chirality of vorticity of the pre spatial fluctuations in the region of the Field that, moment by moment, supports an InfoStructure. Organization of the correlations of Rotation:Chirality, precisely.

When a charged Structure (an InfoStructure with non zero Rotation:Chirality) is placed in a region of the Field where the Electric potential is non zero, the Chirality of the Structure (the chirality of the point-events that in every moment support the existence and the Essence / Form of that InfoStructure) interacts with the Chirality of the Field (induced by the presence of other charged InfoStructures that spread their chirality in the surrounding). This interaction modifies the correlations of the underlying tau distributions of sigma fluctuations, producing a variation of Translation within the Field (interaction between electric potential and the Charge of the Structure). This variation is what we observe as acceleration produced by what we identity as electric attraction or repulsion.

Ontologically, Charge is not a property "possessed" by an object, in a traditional sense. It is a organization of Rotation:Chirality within the micro dynamics of the event points that sustain the InfoStructure. The Electric potential is the corresponding organization of Rotation:Chirality in the Field, independent of any specific Structure.

Their interaction is therefore the interaction between dependent and independent Chirality:

  • dependent Chirality → the Charge "in" the Field (the InfoStructure)
  • independent Chirality → the Electric potential "of" the Field

The phenomenon we call "electric force" is the variational adjustment (in terms of Translation -> whose organization of correlations is the root of Motion) of the Field's micro dynamics when these two patterns of Chirality overlap.

Therefore, at the level of the Elementary Events, the interaction between Charge and Electric potential corresponds to:

  • a reorganization of the correlations among the inhomogeneities of the tau distributions of the pre spatial fluctuations,
  • a local increase or decrease of the prevalence of a given chirality of the vorticity of sigma fluctuations,
  • the emergence of a non zero Translation within the InfoStructure.

This mirrors the mechanism described for gravitational acceleration, where "the surrounding event points acquire non zero values of Translation as a reactive re adjustment of the Field". Here, however, the causal Mode is not Perturbation but Rotation:Chirality.

The stronger the independent Chirality of the Field (Electric potential), the stronger the interaction with the reorganization of the dependent Chirality of the Structure (Charge), and therefore the stronger the induced Translation (acceleration).

In conventional physics terms:

  • Charge: source of electric field
  • Electric potential: scalar field whose gradient produces the electric field
  • Electric force: qE

In this model:

  • Charge: dependent Rotation:Chirality
  • Electric potential: independent Rotation:Chirality
  • Electric field: gradient of independent Chirality
  • Electric force: induced Translation resulting from the interaction of the two Chiralities

Thus, the electric interaction is not a "force" in the Newtonian sense, but the co emergent reorganization of the Field's micro dynamics when two expressions of the same Mode of Elementary Action overlap.

Interaction between Spin and Magnetic potential

In conventional physics, "Spin" and "Magnetic potential" are treated as the intrinsic magnetic moment of a particle and the external magnetic field or vector potential that acts upon it. This operational description is effective, but it obscures the deeper dynamical and ontological structure underlying the phenomenon.

In the language of this model, 'Spin is the manifestation of Elementary Action in the Mode I call Rotation:AxisOrientation, organized into a stable pattern that can be traced back to an InfoStructure ("structured Field"). By contrast, the magnetic potential is the manifestation of the same Component of Elementary Action, but expressed as correlations of axis orientation distributed in the Field, not organized into an InfoStructure ("unstructured Field").

The distinction mirrors the one between Charge and Electric potential, but now concerns axial orientation rather than chirality. Spin corresponds to the dependent organization of Rotation:AxisOrientation within the micro dynamics of the event points that sustain InfoStructures. Magnetic potential corresponds to the independent organization of Rotation:AxisOrientation in the surrounding Field, induced by other non-null Spin InfoStructures or by charged InfoStructures in Motion (the so-called electric current).

In compact form:

  • Spin → correlation patterns of Rotation:AxisOrientation that shape the InfoStructure "within" the Field
  • Magnetic potential → diffuse correlations of Rotation:AxisOrientation in regions "of" the Field

Magnetic potentials may also arise spontaneously from the turbulent processes of the Field across multiple dimensional scales. Even in the dark sector, extended but extremely weak magnetic potentials (what we commonly call cosmic magnetic fields) may emerge from large scale turbulence, giving rise to what we may call diffuse axis orientation.

And likewise, magnetic potentials are produced by the motion of electric charges (the so called electric currents), which—at the level of Vortex type elementary InfoStructures (such as electrons)—tend, during their motion, to align their spin axes to some degree with the direction of the current flow. The more Vortex Structures align their Spin in that direction, and the stronger that alignment is, the greater the resulting Rotation:AxisOrientation correlation, and the greater the magnetic potential that emerges as the peculiar manifestation of the Elementary Field that we ordinarily call the magnetic field. Magnetic potentials in turn exert forces on other moving charges, and so on. Rotation:AxisOrientation is the causal origination of Spin, while Translation is the variational effect produced by the presence of different orientations of the axis of Rotation in the Field, which produces attraction / repulsion of Spins and the magnetic domains.

Just as a non zero Electric potential corresponds to non zero correlations of Rotation:Chirality, here a non zero Magnetic potential corresponds to non zero correlations of Rotation:AxisOrientation in the region of the Field under consideration. These correlations represent the organized, non random component of the pre spatial fluctuations that encode the magnetic potential.

Phenomenologically, the interaction between "Spin" and "Magnetic potential" appears as:

  • alignment or anti alignment of magnetic moments,
  • precession,
  • variations of rotational energy,
  • torque like effects on Structures with Spin.

But in this model, these phenomena are not caused by a "magnetic force" acting at a distance. They arise from the reorganization of the correlations of axial orientation in the pre spatial fluctuations of the region of the Field that supports the InfoStructure. In other words: a reorganization of Rotation:AxisOrientation.

When a InfoStructure with non zero Spin (non zero Rotation:AxisOrientation) is placed in a region where the magnetic potential is non zero, the AxisOrientation of the Structure interacts with the AxisOrientation of the Field (induced by other spinful or charged InfoStructures). This interaction modifies the correlations of the underlying tau-distributions of sigma fluctuations, producing a variation in the Rotation:AxisOrientation component of the Elementary Action. This variation is what we observe as magnetic alignment, precession, or torque.

Ontologically, Spin is not a property "possessed" by an object. It is an organization of Rotation:AxisOrientation within the micro dynamics of the event points that sustain the InfoStructure. The magnetic potential is the corresponding organization of Rotation:AxisOrientation in the Field, independent of the specific observed Structure (test Structure).

Their interaction is therefore the interaction between dependent and independent AxisOrientation:

  • dependent AxisOrientation → Spin of an InfoStructure "in" the Field
  • independent AxisOrientation → magnetic potential "of" the Field

The phenomenon we call "magnetic force" is the variational adjustment (in terms of Rotation:AxisOrientation → whose organization of correlations is the root of Spin) of the Field's micro dynamics when these two patterns of AxisOrientation overlap.

At the level of the Elementary Events, the interaction between Spin and magnetic potential corresponds to:

  • at each event point of the region of the Elementary Field that, moment by moment, is supporting a Spinful InfoStructure, an interaction occurs between the orientation of the vorticity axis of the corresponding event point of the (test) InfoStructure and the orientation of the vorticity axis of that same event point as determined by the Magnetic potential present in the Field due to the presence of other Spinful Structures distinct from the (test) Structure,
  • this results in a pre temporal prevalence of the axial orientation produced by that interaction, which takes place at the pre spatial level,
  • this produces a variation in the inhomogeneity of that pre temporal distribution (an inhomogeneity between the local tau distribution and the universal mean distribution, or the mean distribution of a significant neighborhood of the event point under consideration),
  • it is evident that, as the inhomogeneities of the tau distributions vary, the pattern describing the shape of the test InfoStructure in the Rotation:AxisOrientation component (what we observe as the Structure's Spin, together with the associated magnetic phenomena) also varies — and therefore the Spin of the Structure itself,
  • it is equally evident that the Magnetic potential present in the Field—arising from the presence of other Spinful Structures—is itself modified by the interaction with the AxisOrientation Component of the test Structure,
  • and this interaction—engaging the sub elementary dynamism of the Field at the level of Information/Energy and at the level of Information Structures, together with the corresponding Fundamental Physical Quantities—manifests as what we describe as "magnetic" interaction, with its peculiar kind of attraction/repulsion arising from variations in the correlations of Translation.

This mirrors the mechanism described for Charge–Electric potential and for gravitational acceleration, but here the causal Mode is Rotation:AxisOrientation, not Perturbation or Rotation:Chirality.

The stronger the independent AxisOrientation of the Field (Magnetic potential), the stronger the interaction with the dependent AxisOrientation of the Structure (Spin), and therefore the stronger the induced reorganization (alignment, precession, torque and ).

In conventional physics terms:

  • Spin: intrinsic magnetic moment
  • Magnetic potential: vector potential whose curl produces the magnetic field
  • Magnetic force: torque or precession of a magnetic moment in a magnetic field

In this model:

  • Spin: dependent Rotation:AxisOrientation correlations
  • Magnetic potential: independent Rotation:AxisOrientation correlations
  • Magnetic field: gradient of independent AxisOrientation correlations
  • Magnetic force: induced reorganization of correlations of Rotation:AxisOrientation resulting from the interaction of the two patterns

Thus, the magnetic interaction is not a "force" in the Newtonian sense, but the co emergent reorganization of the Field's micro dynamics when two expressions of the same Mode of Elementary Action overlap.

The deep nature of electromagnetic phenomena

Let us take as an example the phenomena of emission and absorption of photons (single cycle electromagnetic waves).

When a physical system emits or absorbs a photon, conventional physics describes the event as a "quantum jump": an electron transitions between discrete energy levels, releasing or capturing a packet of electromagnetic energy. This picture is operationally powerful, yet it leaves unspoken the deeper dynamical and ontological process unfolding beneath the surface.

In the framework developed in this work, a photon is not a particle traveling through space, nor a pre existing wave packet waiting to be released. It is, more fundamentally, a gesture of the Field, a momentary act of reorganization within the most elementary dynamism of Physical Reality.

Every InfoStructure — such as an electron — and every Form — such as an atom or a molecule — exists because the Field continuously sustains its Existence through the incessant Creation of Elementary Events, and its Essence / Form through the Evolution of precise patterns of correlations among the inhomogeneities in the pre temporal distribution of the pre spatial fluctuations that constitute those Events. When this internal pattern changes, the Field must adjust. And this adjustment cannot remain confined: it must propagate outward.

It is in this propagation that the phenomenon here I call a photon comes into being, exists and evolves.

Photon emission

A photon as an InfoStructure (a single cycle electromagnetic wave) and, at the same time, a phenomenon—or a set of associated phenomena—of propagation in the Field generated, for example, by the deceleration of an elementary Vortex type InfoStructure: an electron. The emission of a photon caused by the rapid deceleration of an electron moving within the atomic cloud is, in essence, yet another effect of what we call "inertia", which is not (only) a law of Nature but a mode of manifestation of the Component of the Elementary Action that I refer to as Translation, and at the same time an expression of the Reality Operator (Operational Agent) that I designate as Translation.

Imagine an electron undergoing a change in its dynamics. This is not a "jump" in a naïve or abstract sense, but a reorganization of the pattern of correlations that define its Existence and its Essence/Form—across all Components of Elementary Action:

  • Perturbation: the electron's Mass and its metrical aspects (spatial extension, occupied volume, and proper time) vary as its speed changes (relativistic effects). Photons don't transport Mass).
  • Translation: its velocity (speed and/or direction) changes; part of its kinetic energy (linear momentum) begins to propagate at the speed of light—the speed at which Causality, Action, and Information propagate → the impulse of the photon.
  • Rotation:Chirality: remains unchanged in its totality, but its density and spatial distribution adjust to preserve the Vortex form (and photons don't transport electric Charge).
  • Rotation:AxisOrientation: part of the magnetic energy component (intrinsic angular momentum) aligned with the electron's Spin begins to propagate at the speed of light, in the same direction and in conjunction with the propagation of linear momentum → the polarization of the photon.

When the complex pattern of correlations among the different Components of Elementary Action changes, the surrounding Field must reorganize to preserve the global coherence of its dynamism. This reorganization cannot occur instantaneously; it unfolds, spreads, and travels as a self consistent, single cycle disturbance.

This traveling disturbance — a complete cycle of reorganization — is what physics identifies as a photon.

The Kinetic Energy of the decelerating electron (the Translation Component of its momentum → orientation of sigma-fluctuations) begins to propagate through the Field, together with part of its Magnetic Energy (the Rotation:AxisOrientation Component, its intrinsic angular momentum → axial orientation of vorticity of sigma-fluctuations).

It is not an object that "leaves" one place and "arrives" at another. It is the propagation of the Field's own adjustment or re-Action, moving through the Field itself.

Photon absorption

When this propagating reorganization process/structure encounters another InfoStructure (whether elementary or composite Vortex), the process reverses. If the receiving Vortex InfoStructure can integrate the incoming pattern of correlations across the different Modes of Elementary Action, the Field undergoes a local reconfiguration that:

  • modifies its dependent Rotation:AxisOrientation (magnetic aspect), due to the polarization of the incident photon
  • reorganizes in Space the dependent Rotation:Chirality pattern (Charge, electric aspect) without changing its handedness — the sign of its electric Charge
  • adjusts its Translation component (Motion, kinetic energy) due to the impulse delivered by the incoming photon
  • reorganizes in Space the dependent Perturbation pattern, adjusting its Mass and Metric/volume, as a consequence of the variation in speed produced by the photon's impulse

The photon "disappears" not because it is annihilated, but because the reorganization it carried has been absorbed into the micro dynamics of the InfoStructure.

Absorption is, therefore, the merging of a traveling reorganization (InfoStructure: Wave / Single-cycle: — the photon) with a Structure capable of incorporating it (InfoStructure: Vortex / Vortex — elementary or composite, e.g., electron, nucleon, atom, molecule).

On the expressions "can integrate" and "capable of incorporating": for a photon to be absorbed, its dimensions — its wavelength, but above all the transverse width of its wavefront, determined respectively by the "run" of the emitting electron during its deceleration and by the electron's (or, more generally, the emitting Vortex InfoStructure's) own dynamic limit diameter (a measure of the mean extension of a Vortex InfoStructure) — must be comparable to those of the receiving InfoStructure or Form.

Thus, photons with longer wavelengths (infrared radiation) can be emitted and absorbed by more spatially extended structures, such as atoms and molecules, contributing to the thermal agitation of matter. But they will tend to "pass through" electrons and atomic nuclei.

Photons with progressively shorter wavelengths, instead, tend to be emitted and absorbed by less extended InfoStructures (with smaller limit diameters) — first electrons, then nuclei. In emission processes, besides the spatial extent of the emitting Structures, the energetic intensity matters: that is, the rapidity of the deceleration or oscillation that produces the photon, which determines the photon's wavelength.

The limit diameter is dynamic, variable, since the spatial metric extension of a Vortex InfoStructure — a fermion, to use a term from conventional physics — that is, the volume it occupies, as in some way suggested in relativistic mechanics, depends on its propagation velocity, or more precisely on the ratio between its velocity and the (local) limit velocity of Causality/Action/Information (the so called speed of light in vacuum). In this model, that velocity is a limit, but not a universal constant, even though one can still conceive and compute a universal average value correlated with a likewise theoretical measure of the universal average time.

As I said above, a photon is an InfoStructure of Wave type, single cycle subtype. It is therefore not a continuous oscillation. It is a finite act, a complete cycle of transformation that begins, unfolds, and concludes. It is generated by a one shot phenomenon. By contrast, multi cycle Wave Structures — which can be viewed as continuous trains of single cycle Waves — are generated by periodic vibrational processes (such as the alternating current of an electrical signal producing radio waves in an antenna).

There are also phenomena that lie between these two extremes, between one shot events and continuous ones. These are quasi periodic phenomena, the kind that produce radiation that appears continuous: multi cycle Waves that are in fact sequences of one shot events that are not perfectly periodic. A typical example is synchrotron radiation, where electrons oscillate along a curved trajectory inside intense magnetic fields, producing sequences of vibrations that might suggest a multi cycle Wave, but are in fact trains of single cycle Waves (for example X-ray photons in the case of ultra-relativistic photons moving in very intense magnetic fields).

In every case, the periodicity we associate with electromagnetic radiation is not the vibration of a persistent entity, but the temporal signature of how the Field reorganizes its correlations across the various Components of Elementary Action during propagation. Frequency is the rhythm of this unfolding, not the frequency of a classical oscillation.

Seen from this perspective, light is neither a stream of particles nor a wave propagating through a medium. It is the language through which the Field communicates its own transformations.

Each photon emission is the generation of a message: a record of a reorganization that occurred within an InfoStructure, carried outward so that the Field may maintain coherence across its extent.

And each absorption is the reply: the integration of that message into the form of another InfoStructure.

Light is the Field manifesting itself. Electromagnetic phenomena are not interactions between objects and fields, but co emergent reorganizations of the micro dynamism of the Elementary Field. Light, in this sense, is not something external to Matter. It is Matter itself — or rather, the Field that sustains Matter — leaving a trace of its transformations. A trace that can be received, interpreted, and woven into new Structures. A trace that illuminates, quite literally, the deep architecture of Physical Reality.

Maxwell's Equations

Maxwell's equations are often presented as the crowning achievement of classical physics: four elegant relations that unify electricity and magnetism into a single, coherent theory. They describe how electric and magnetic fields arise, how they evolve, and how they influence one another. In the traditional view, they are the immutable laws governing the behavior of electromagnetic fields in space and time.

But in the framework developed in this book, Maxwell's equations acquire a deeper, more intimate meaning. They are not external laws imposed on a pre existing space. They are the macroscopic shadow of the Field's own micro dynamism — the large scale expression of how the Elementary Action organizes itself through Rotation.

The Field beneath the equations. At the most fundamental level, the Field is not a continuum filled with vectors and waves. It is a vast, ever renewing tapestry of Elementary Events, each carrying tiny fluctuations of Rotation in its two sub modes:

  • Rotation:Chirality, the root of electric phenomena
  • Rotation:AxisOrientation, the root of magnetic phenomena

These fluctuations are not completely random. They are woven together by correlations — patterns of organization that give rise to InfoStructures, to forces, to Motion, and to the very stability of Matter.

Maxwell's equations emerge when these microscopic patterns are viewed from afar, averaged over immense numbers of Elementary Events. They are the coarse grained description of how Rotation organizes itself across the Field.

Gauss's law: the imprint of Rotation:Chirality

In the conventional formulation, Gauss's law states that electric charge is the source of electric fields.

In this model, this becomes: dependent Rotation:Chirality (Charge) organizes (generates, induces) the independent Rotation:Chirality of the Field (Electric potential).

Independent Rotation:Chirality is the portion of the dependent Rotation:Chirality (Charge) that extends outward beyond the boundary diameter defining the charged Structure. When a large number of charged InfoStructures are clustered together (for example, a set of electrons on the surface of an electrically charged metal), the surrounding Space will exhibit a non zero Rotation:Chirality correlation due to the superposition of the extremely weak residual correlations of each electron outside its own limiting volume. The intensity of the Rotation:Chirality correlation (electric potential, electric field) will decrease with the square of the distance, as predicted by Coulomb's law.

Gauss's law is the macroscopic expression of this organization. It tells us that wherever the Field sustains an InfoStructure with non zero Chirality, the surrounding Field must adjust its own Chirality correlations accordingly.

The "electric field" is simply the gradient of this adjustment.

Gauss's law for magnetism: the imprint of Rotation:AxisOrientation

In the conventional formulation, Gauss's law for magnetism states that magnetic monopoles do not exist: magnetic field lines never begin or end but form closed loops or extend to infinity. The net magnetic flux through any closed surface is therefore zero, and the magnetic field is a solenoidal vector field.

In this model, this principle becomes: dependent Rotation:AxisOrientation does not exist; Rotation:AxisOrientation has no localized source analogous to Charge.

While Gauss's law for electricity describes how dependent Rotation:Chirality (Charge) organizes the independent Rotation:Chirality of the Field (Electric potential), Gauss's law for magnetism expresses the complementary fact that Rotation:AxisOrientation cannot originate from, nor terminate in, a single point event of the Field. Thus, Rotation:AxisOrientation does not "flow outward" from a source, does not accumulate at a point event, does not generate a monopolar potential. It exists only as part of a self consistent, closed organization of the Field.

When an InfoStructure endowed with Spin is present, it induces a correlation of AxisOrientation in the surrounding Field. However, this correlation does not extend radially, does not generate a monopole like field, does not produce divergence. It arranges itself into a toroidal or loop like configuration, consistent with the solenoidal nature of the magnetic field. The macroscopic statement of the law is simply the Field level expression of this deeper organization: Rotation:AxisOrientation cannot possess a "source term". Its correlations must always close upon themselves. This is why the total magnetic flux through a closed surface is zero. Rotation:AxisOrientation is intrinsically non divergent. It can only appear as a closed, coherent configuration within the Field. In this framework, the magnetic aspect of the Field corresponds to a correlation of AxisOrientation among the event points of a region sustaining an InfoStructure with Spin or traversed by an ordered motion of charges. These correlations cannot emerge from a point source, cannot radiate outward as Rotation:Chirality does, cannot produce a net flux through a closed surface. They must instead organize themselves into closed, loop like configurations, directly mirroring the closed magnetic field lines of conventional electromagnetism. This structural constraint is the imprint of Gauss's law for magnetism.

Just as the electric field is the gradient of the adjustment of Rotation:Chirality induced by Charge, the magnetic field is: the gradient of the closed configuration of Rotation:AxisOrientation induced by Spin or by the ordered motion of charges. There is no scalar magnetic potential analogous to the electric one, because there is no monopolar source of AxisOrientation. Instead, the Field admits a vector potential, consistent with the inherently solenoidal structure of Rotation:AxisOrientation.

Faraday's law: Rotation:AxisOrientation influencing the organization of Rotation:Chirality

In the conventional formulation, Faraday's law of induction states that a time varying magnetic field corresponds to the negative curl of an electric field. In integral form, it says that the work per unit charge required to move a charge around a closed loop equals the rate of change of the magnetic flux through the enclosed surface. This principle underlies electromagnetic induction: a rotating magnet, or any changing magnetic environment, generates an electric field in nearby conductors. Electric generators, geomagnetic storms, and induction coils all operate through this mechanism.

In this model, Faraday's law reveals a deeper structural truth: Rotation:AxisOrientation and Rotation:Chirality are two inseparable sub modes of the same Mode of Elementary Action. A change in AxisOrientation necessarily induces a reorganization of Chirality. A time dependent configuration of Rotation:AxisOrientation cannot remain self contained. As the magnetic correlation evolves, the surrounding Field must adjust its Rotation:Chirality correlations to maintain coherence. This adjustment appears macroscopically as an 'induced electric potential and an induced electric field. Thus, a changing AxisOrientation correlation, induces an independent Rotation:Chirality correlation in the Field, whose gradient is the electric field described by Faraday's law. Faraday's law is therefore the macroscopic signature of how the Field preserves the unity of Rotation when its AxisOrientation sub mode changes in time.

Ampère–Maxwell law: Rotation:Chirality influencing the organization of Rotation:AxisOrientation

In the conventional formulation, Ampère's circuital law states that electric currents generate magnetic fields. Maxwell's crucial addition—the displacement current—extends this principle to changing electric fields, which also produce magnetic fields. In integral form, electric currents and displacement currents are associated with a proportional magnetic circulation along any enclosing curve.

This modification is essential: without it, Ampère's law and Gauss's laws would be inconsistent for time dependent fields. With Maxwell's correction, the theory predicts self sustaining electromagnetic waves that propagate through empty space. The speed of these waves, derived from measurements of charges and currents, matches the speed of light—revealing that light itself is an electromagnetic wave.

In this model, the Ampère–Maxwell law expresses the complementary aspect of the same underlying unity: a change in (organization of correlations of) Rotation:Chirality necessarily induces a reorganization of (the organization of correlations of) Rotation:AxisOrientation.

Dependent Rotation:Chirality (Charge) and its independent extension (Electric potential) cannot vary in time without compelling the surrounding Field to adjust its AxisOrientation correlations. This adjustment manifests macroscopically as a magnetic field, always arranged in closed, solenoidal loops in accordance with Gauss's law for magnetism.

Thus: a changing Chirality correlation, induces a closed configuration of AxisOrientation, which is the magnetic field described by the Ampère–Maxwell law.

Because Rotation:AxisOrientation cannot possess divergence, the induced magnetic field always forms closed loops, whether generated by conduction currents, displacement currents, or time varying electric potentials.

The Ampère–Maxwell law is therefore the macroscopic expression of how the Field maintains coherence when its Chirality sub mode evolves in time—and it is the structural foundation for the existence of electromagnetic waves.

Faraday and Ampère: the dance of the two sub-modes of Rotation

As seen, Faraday's law and the Ampère–Maxwell law describe how electric and magnetic fields generate and transform into one another. In the traditional view, a changing magnetic field creates an electric field, and a changing electric field creates a magnetic field.

In this model, these laws express something deeper: Rotation:Chirality and Rotation:AxisOrientation are not separate forces, but two inseparable aspects of the same Mode of Elementary Action.

A change in one sub mode necessarily induces a reorganization in the other. This is why electric and magnetic phenomena are always intertwined: they are two faces of the same underlying Rotation.

Faraday's law is the macroscopic signature of how changes in AxisOrientation propagate into Chirality. Ampère–Maxwell is the complementary signature of how changes in Chirality propagate into AxisOrientation.

Together, they describe the self consistent evolution of Rotation across the Field.

The wave equation: light as the Field's self propagation

When Maxwell's equations are combined, they yield the electromagnetic wave equation — the mathematical form that predicts the existence of light.

But in this model, the wave equation is not predicting a new entity. It is revealing the natural mode of propagation of Elementary Action Modes Translation and Rotation:AxisOrientation correlations.

A photon — a single cycle Wave InfoStructure, a reorganization of Elementary Action Modes manifestation — is a microscopic event. The electromagnetic wave equation is the macroscopic envelope of countless such reorganizations, averaged into a smooth, continuous form.

Light is not a continuous wave propagating through space, as it is usually imagined. It is the Field reorganizing itself as Rotation:AxisOrientation propagates with/through Translation. It is Causality, Action, Information, Form, organizing and propagating in the Elementary Field itself.

Maxwell's equations as the grammar of Rotation

Seen from this perspective, Maxwell's equations are not fundamental laws. They are the grammar of how Rotation expresses itself when viewed at scales far larger than the Elementary Events that compose Physical Reality.

They tell us:

  • how dependent Rotation (Charge, Spin) shapes the Field
  • how independent Rotation (Electric and magnetic potentials) spreads through the Field
  • how the two sub modes of Rotation co evolve and interact
  • how reorganization propagates as light (in the form of Single-cycle Wave InfoStructures)

They are the large scale echo of the Field's micro dynamism.

Electromagnetism is not a force acting in space. It is the Field's own internal logic — the way Rotation (together with the other Modes of Elementary Action, especially Translation) organizes, propagates, and maintains coherence across the vast web of Elementary Events.

Maxwell's equations are the visible surface of this deeper process: the mathematical reflection of the Field's ceaseless, elegant, and self consistent act of becoming.
