Observing Reality from different points of view—exclusively for analytical and descriptive purposes—we can identify successive nested levels, both in terms of the causal dimension and the space-time dimensions (increasing Complexity). Ascending from the elementary level of the Primary Source, through the level of Action, then the level of Information, where evolutionary Processes organize, transform, and select the Structures of Information (Waves, Particles/Halos, Interactions), up to the level of (material and immaterial) Forms and ultimately to the entire Universe in Evolution.
We can regard these levels as particular views on Reality, as we focus our attention on specific levels of organization of the Relations between its constituents, its "raw materials"—the Events. Each level corresponds to a segment of the Process of Formation of Reality, where specific Operators of Reality—characterizations of the fundamental Agent, the Fundamental Force—act upon the Elementary Field.
Furthermore, although Reality is the result of a unitary and indivisible Process of Formation, it can be observed through different aspects and conceived as a superposition of different planes—or layers—of Existence, different, but complementary "domains" of Reality:
- Physical Reality: the physical side of Existence studied by Evolutionary Physics; the Elementary Action, organized by Information into Radiation and Matter—Structures of Information—which constitutes the material Forms, the objects and bodies populating the Universe
- Cognitive Reality: the cognitive side of Reality studied by Evolutionary Metaphysics; the immaterial Forms—Information produced by Cognitive Action—expressed by Finalistic Agents, living forms, and automata
- Metacognitive Reality: the meta-cognitive dimension—a cognitive being reflecting on cognition and thought—studied by Evolutionary Meta-metaphysics; the process of constructing representations of Cognitive Systems and their dynamics
In describing the Process of Formation of Reality—a unitary and indivisible Process—although the levels of organization of the Field are to be considered infinite, for descriptive purposes and simplicity, we can identify the following few fundamental Levels of Reality:
Level of Non-Existence
This is the level in which the Elementary Field exists in a state of absence of fluctuations—a complete lack of elementary fluctuations in the Field, serving as the precursor to Space-time dimensions. No Elementary Events occur, whose inhomogeneities would otherwise constitute Elementary Action, the most elementary form of Existence. It is the unperturbed Elementary Field: perfectly homogeneous, devoid of correlations, lacking organization, and exhibiting minimal Complexity. A condition of Non-Existence—of pure Nothingness.
It is a hypothetical level, since the existence of the Source presupposes the Action of the Fundamental Force upon the Elementary Field, which incessantly drives the phase transition from the state we call "Nothingness" to the most elementary form of Existence—the Elementary Action—from Nothingness to Emptiness.
Level of the Source of Reality
This is the uncontactable level of the sub-Entities—the Fundamental Force and the Elementary Field—which together constitute the Primary Source of Reality. They represent, respectively, the origins of the causal and the variational (spatial and temporal) dimensionalities of Reality—the roots of the dimensions through which we perceive, observe, and measure the world.
Level of the Elementary Action
This is the level of Reality in which the Fundamental Force, acting upon the Elementary Field, incessantly mediates the phase transition between Nothingness and the Absolute Vacuum. In fact, the Force exerts a constant pressure on the Field, continuously driving the transition from the state of Non-Existence to the most elementary form of Existence—from Nothingness to Emptiness.
It is the forge of Reality, where the Elementary Action is incessantly "created"—the most elementary level of Existence, composed of Elementary Events in the form of fluctuations of fundamental dynamics of the Field. From their organization will emerge Information, Structures of Information, and Forms.
Here, the Elementary Field is in a state we can define as "all potential", referred to as the Absolute Vacuum. It is absolute homogeneity in the temporal distributions of the elementary spatial fluctuations—Elementary Events—of the Field—a state produced by the Action of the Fundamental Force.
Level of Information / Energy
This is the level of Reality at which the Action of the Force upon the Field manifests through the Organization, Transformation, and Selection of networks of Relations between Elementary Events—what we call Information. At the most elementary level of Complexity, these networks can be represented as patterns of correlation between the temporal distributions of the spatial fluctuations that define the elementary dynamics of the Field.
It is the level at which the Relations among Elementary Events and their patterns of Organization—the elementary form of Information, commonly referred to as Energy—evolve into increasingly complex macro-Events, giving rise to Processes, Structures of Information, which in turn organize into even more intricate Forms.
Information—In-Form-Action—is organized Action, the pattern of Event organization.
This is the level of evolutive Processes, which at each degree of Complexity organize, transform, and select Information—what gives form to the Structures of Information and to the Forms that populate the Universe.
It is "The Cycle of Information", the true evolutionary engine of Reality. The Force exerts a constant pressure, incessantly driving the phase transition from chaos to order—across all possible gradations of organization and Complexity.
Level of the Structures of Information
This is the level of elementary Structures that emerge from the Evolution of Information organizing the Field.
As the first part of the Level of the Forms, the Level of Structures of Information is the domain of Reality where Information / Energy and its associated evolutive Processes (the Cycle of Information) give form to the elementary Structures that constitute the building blocks of both material and immaterial Forms.
Here we find:
- Structures of Propagation (dynamic structures) -> Waves -> GW and EM Radiation
- Structures of Conservation (conservative structures) -> Vortices -> Matter (Dark Matter / Dark Energy Halos, e.g., galactic bubbles and Ordinary Matter elementary Particles, e.g., electrons)
- Interactions, which realize the Mixed Structures -> Matter (Dark Structures that compose the Cosmic Web, and composite Particles, e.g., nucleons—protons and neutrons—composed of quarks and gluons)
In physical terms, Structures of Information are Space-time domains where micro-states (the dynamics of point-events in the Field) exhibit some degree of organization, represented by a non-zero correlation in the temporal distribution of elementary spatial fluctuations of the Field. Level of the Forms
This is the level of composite Forms created through the Evolution of elementary or less complex Processes—the Structures of Information. It is Information forming other, more complex Information, in nested networks that give shape to Action.
Level of the Universe as a whole in Evolution
This level encompasses the Universe as a whole—everything in Evolution, all levels of Reality integrated. Wholeness.

- Cognitive Reality (Metaphysical Reality, or Metareality)
- Metacognitive Reality (Meta-metareality)
