Agents / Forces are the active aspects of the unities represented by the Sources.

They embody the active side of Reality—of Existence. Agents are the forces that operate in the Formation (Creation and Evolution) of Reality, across its two domains: physical and metaphysical or cognitive.

In other words, Agents are the fundamental causal entities that give life to Reality—those that incessantly empower its construction.

They can be seen as Operators whose action within the Process of Reality Formation—and across all its constituent sub-processes—generates the ceaseless Creation and Evolution of Reality itself, in all its physical and cognitive aspects.

The Properties of Agents/Forces

An Agent / Force manifests itself by acting upon the corresponding Acted / Field. Agents / Forces are centers of expression of Causality, of causal Action. They are the originators, the generators, the creators of Events produced through the internal interaction between Forces and Fields within Sources.

Fundamental and Derived Agents/Forces

We can identify a fundamental Agent—the Fundamental Force, the Cause, the power engine of the Creation and Evolution of Reality—and various Derived Agents, which are distinct manifestations of Force at different levels of Reality, the Forces that act throughout the Universe.

Fundamental Agent - The Fundamental Force

The Fundamental Force (or Fundamental Agent) is the active, creative aspect / expression of the Source of Reality. It is the primary Cause—the causal origin of Existence and Essence / Form—the generator the primordial "substance", the Elementary Action (inhomogeneities in the distributions of the Elementary Events), the substrate (that which lies beneath all that exists) sustaining Existence and Evolution: pure Existence without Form.

It is the Agent—the subject of reification—the Fundamental Force from which all natural Forces derive. It is the Cause that empowers and propels the incessant transmutation of the possible, the potential, into the existing, the actual, the real—at all levels of Complexity.

By perturbing the perfect homogeneity of the rest state of the Elementary Field (Nothingness), the Fundamental Force incessantly creates Elementary Events, producing the uncorrelated Elementary Action—the most elementary Form of existence (Emptiness, the perfect / absolute vacuum, the unstructured Elementary Field).

In other words, the Force initiates the fundamental state transition of the Field—from Non-Existence to Existence—from the absolute static homogeneity, which I call "Nothingness", to the absolute dynamic homogeneity—the unorganized state of the Field—"Emptiness"—commonly referred to as the unstructured Field. This condition can be conceived as the quantum vacuum: the substrate of Information, the origin of every Structure and Form that emerges through the organization of Elementary Action itself.

The Fundamental Agent also drives the Evolution of Action, producing increasingly complex Forms (referred to as "Information", In-Form-Action), and propelling the development of Structures of Information (Halos / Particles, Waves and their Interactions in the physical domain of Nature) and the Physical Forms that constitute the Universe.

From another point of view—equivalently—we can say that the Fundamental Force is the primary "Field structuring Agent"—an all-encompassing Operator that transforms the Elementary Field from a homogeneous, undifferentiated static condition (Nothingness) to a homogeneous, undifferentiated dynamic condition (Emptiness)—into a structured, differentiated configuration.

The Fundamental Force is the catalyst of the Creation of Existence and the Evolution of Essence/Form—through the expression of Causality and the generation of Variations, Events, Action—whose organization produces Information and drives its Evolution toward ever higher levels of Complexity.

It operates within the Process of Formation of Reality—or rather—drives the Process of Formation of Reality itself, translating pure potentiality into actualized structure.

We can also imagine it as a "symmetry-breaking Operator"—a process in which a system that is initially symmetric (i.e., invariant under certain transformations) transitions into a condition that lacks part of that symmetry—the birth of structure.

And furthermore, we can see it as an "ontological differentiator"—one that enacts the shift from undivided Unity (the Primary Source, in its Acted/Field passive aspect) to the articulated, multiform, complex Reality we can observe. At the same time, it functions as a "temporal trigger"—incessantly empowering the irreversible Process of Formation of Reality—with its arrow of Time.

Derived Agents/Forces

Derived Agents / Forces are expressions of the Fundamental Force acting at more complex levels of Reality. They are specifications of the subject—the active aspect of the Agency of the Source(s)—the capacity to produce Events and Action.

They embody more complex forms of Causality: the Forces operating within metric, gravitational, kinetic, electric, magnetic, and weak and strong nuclear phenomena.

Derived Forces are the "Derived Field structuring Agents"—specific Operators that transform/deform Derived Fields, through Derived Processes producing Information, InfoStructures, Forms and making them to evolve.

Derived Forces are the catalysts of the Creation of Existence and the Evolution of Essence/Form at the levels of Reality above the Elementary Level—always through the expression of Causality and the generation of Variations, Events, Action—whose organization produces more complex Information and drives its Evolution toward ever higher levels of Complexity.

They operate within the Process of Formation of Reality—or rather—drives all the sub-Processes that derive from the general one.

We can also imagine them as symmetry-breaking Operators. Generators of an increasingly structured Reality, emergency enablers, Agents of individuation.

Classification of Agents/Forces

According to their functional Complexity and causal Properties, Agents can be classified as:

  • Operational agents (the "Operators of Reality"): the Force and the derived forces that act in the PFR. They, as centers of functional action, incessantly do the elementary jobs in the Creation and Evolution of Reality;
  • Operational Agents (the "Operators of Reality"): the Fundamental Force and its derivatives acting within the Process of Formation of Reality (PFR). As centers of functional action, they incessantly perform the elementary tasks of Creation and Evolution;
  • Quantum agents (waves, particles, interactions): the derived forces that act at the level of elementary particles;
  • Quantum agents (waves, particles, interactions): derived forces acting at the level of elementary Particles;
  • Deterministic agents (material forms, forms of inorganic matter, from gasses to stars and galaxies, till the biggest cosmic structures): the derived forces that act at the level of ordinary reality, the "classical" forces;
  • Deterministic agents (material forms, inorganic matter—from gases to stars and galaxies, up to the largest cosmic structures): derived forces acting within ordinary, "classical" Reality;
  • Finalistic agents (living forms and automata, and their ecosystems): the forces that act in the existence of the living beings and automata. Finalistic agents, in their action in/on the Physical Reality, incessantly construct meta-forms, cognitive structures and forms. In their evolution, they become more and more complex centers of physical and metaphysical/cognitive action. From their exploration of the evolutive possibility given by the environment, they develop models/representations of Reality, that produce individual and collective behaviors, sexual forces, ecosystems forces, cultural, social and economic forces, spiritual forces, and so on in an incessant rise of complexity.
  • Finalistic agents (living forms and automata, and their ecosystems): forces acting within the existence of living beings and automata. Finalistic agents, through their action in/on Physical Reality, incessantly construct meta-forms—cognitive structures and forms. Through their evolution, they become increasingly complex centers of physical and metaphysical/cognitive action. By exploring the evolutionary possibilities offered by their environment, they develop models and representations of Reality, which give rise to individual and collective behaviors, sexual forces, ecosystemic forces, cultural, social, economic, and spiritual forces—contributing to an incessant rise in complexity.

Operational Agents

Operational Agents, or Agents of Reality, are the fundamental causal entities that give life to Reality. They are "centers of causal action", that create and give power to the evolution of Reality.

Operational Agents, or Agents of Reality, are the fundamental causal entities that give life to Reality. They are centers of causal action, generating and sustaining the evolution of Reality.

Each operator and each entity involved in Process of Formation of Reality, each structure, each existing Form, from the elementary Field to the Universe in its complex, is an Agent, a center of causal Action. Reality is therefore an interconnected network of Agents in incessant evolutive and co-constructive interaction, Agents that express themselves at all the dimensional and complexity levels of Reality.

Each operator and each entity involved in the Process of Formation of Reality—each structure, each existing Form, from the Elementary Field to the Universe in its full complexity—is an Agent, a center of causal Action. Reality is thus an interconnected network of Agents in incessant evolutionary and co-constructive interaction—Agents expressing themselves across all dimensional and complexity levels of Reality.
